I used to work full time and do the cooking and cleaning in the house. It was super stressful and causing my husband and I to fight a lot. My husband said I could quit if it was so stressful, which I wanted to, but I wanted to be married first before I became completely dependent on him. I took another job right after the wedding (shorter commute) because I knew I would get questioned by our families for being "just" a housewife, with the plan being I'd quit once we managed to get pregnant. I go…

That is pretty alarming. My husband and I have that setup but we discussed it extensively before and after the wedding. I don't like it when my husband tells me what to do and we make our decisions together. Try having more conversations about it; if you can't be on the same page that's a pretty big red flag.

I want to get pregnant next year after my wedding in May. I'll be 23. Will have been with my man for 5 years and we've talked about having babies for almost 2 years now. We want 5.

I'm also 22! I do hip thrusts, squats, deadlifts, each one day a week. If you don't have heavy weights, you can use light weights or resistance bands for the hip thrusts and squats. Research shows it doesn't matter if you don't use a lot of weight, as long as you do the exercise until failure, the result will be hypertrophy (larger muscles). And eat a lot of protein. About 1g per pound you weigh each day to rebuild the muscles and maintain your lean mass. Personally, I got smaller with this beca…

Ok, I totally used to be in the same boat. Honestly, what got me out of that cycle was working out regularly. When you work out regularly and see that some foods make you feel terrible and weak during your workout, you get used to avoiding them. I have mentally blacklisted foods in my family's cupboard. I don't consider them options because they make me feel bad. You also start to feel like you want to do what's best for you. I mean, you worked your butt off so you don't want to throw it away by…

I wouldn't say so. I don't know any women who have cheated on their boyfriends or husbands. I personally have lots of opportunities to since I work at a gym and big sweaty dudes approach me occasionally. But my coworkers also say that I'm really loyal and it's rare so I guess a lot of girls do cheat, I just don't know any specific examples.

Wait, how do you fix flat foot? I've been using insoles recommended by a physical therapist because my flat feet are already causing knee problems, but they aren't exactly helping solve that issue. I'm curious to know if you've found anything that works.

I used accutane for a year for acne and my dermatologist started me on Retin-A when the course was done. I've seen that a lot of people experience dryness and irritated skin but I didn't because I transitioned easily from accutane. I think you should see a dermatologist for recommendations. There are various concentrations of Retin-A and you'll probably be able to start low and build up from there.

It's the opposite in my case. I need to get a long workout at the gym to feel energetic (but I also feel better after taking a while to get myself prepped for the day) while my bf likes to stay in and play video vames.

I attracted him with humor. I'm still funny, so he's still with me. But I really improved my appearance as well and definitely developed some homemaker skills to make myself wife material. He definitely wants to marry me sometime soon after graduation so I guess it worked.

I went for a full glow-up last year. I had had acne since I was 12 so I started Accutane (now using tretinoin cream). I figured I might as well go for a more complete change so I started working out and eating healthy. I lost close to 10 lbs but a lot of size because I gained muscle so I carry my weight better. I slowly grew out the terrible bleach job I had gotten on my hair 2 years before and it's back to it's natural color now (and at a nice, long length). I learned how to do my makeup well. …

I'll definitely try! I always think I'll try to have hobbies but then I fall back into the same routine of relying on having him there for me. I'm hoping it'll be easier when we both have to get full-time jobs in a couple months.

Well, I guess that's my problem. I don't have a life outside of my relationship. We live together at school and we go back to our respective families' houses on the weekends so we can spend time with our families too. So my life outside of the relationship is basically my immediate family on the weekends.

These are my views as well. I waited for a year to have sex with my boyfriend. I'm not uncomfortable with sex but I want to be in love with my SO before having sex.

It took me a year to decide I was ready to have sex with my boyfriend. 2 months is not too long and I don't think it's prudish at all. Given how traditional my family is, I'm the opposite of a prude for waiting ONLY a year. Honestly, if he's worth your time, he'll respect your decision. My boyfriend didn't push me past my boundaries. We only did what I was comfortable with at the time.

I think it should be. I think that anyone's n-count provides some insight into their views of sex. My boyfriend and I were both at 0 partners when we met and it was the best thing that could've happened to us. There were no worries about sexual history, STDs, etc. Neither of us is into casual sex which is important to both of us. It's not unreasonable at all.

Personally, I make sure my face is constantly moisturized. I drink lots of water, I try to eat healthy, I maintain a healthy BMI, and I work out 4-5 times a week. After a shower, I moisturize all over my body. I have sprays to moisturize my face even after I've done my makeup. I got an eye cream that leaves my eye area moisturized literally all day. No lie, my skin around my eyes is always more moisturized than everything else (I use Ole Henriksen banana eye cream). I use sunscreen every day eve…

I just got the Maybelline Age Rewind concealer yesterday to replace my Sephora brand concealer that's twice the price. For the price, they're pretty much the same quality. However, because I got a lighter shade from the Maybelline brand, it does a better job of highlighting, which is part of what I want from a concealer. The one thing I don't like is that when I wear glasses, the product builds up on the bridge of my nose which didn't happen with the Sephora brand concealer.

Growing up, I definitely wanted to have a very traditional family and relationship because my parents raised us that way. My parents are super religious and were raised in Mexico where things are still more conservative than they are here in the U.S. When I was in like middle and high school, though, my friends and teachers kept emphasizing the importance of having an education, being independent, developing a career, and all that stuff. Because of this and my lack of a boyfriend, I decided I di…

Same here. At family parties and things everyone's like "dang you eat so much but I'm the one gaining the weight." But like, I lift and am generally more active than they are. And I eat at a small deficit on weekdays so I can splurge a bit on weekends. That's how I stay thin.

My mom had me at 22 and my siblings shortly after and my family is perfectly fine 💁🏻‍♀️ I've seen how my parents make it work firsthand. I want to be young and full of energy to properly care for my kids. I don't wanna be old and too tired to deal with them. My bf feels the same and we've been together a few years. We're waiting a few more to have kids but not too long. I don't think that's unreasonable or selfish at all. I wouldn't consider it if I didn't think my bf and I weren't stable enough…

Why should people wait until 30? I mean personally, I want 3-4 kids and I don't want to be raising them in my 40s-50s.

She probably does occasionally stuff her face. She looks like I do when I stop caring about what I eat. It's really easy to look like that.

I'm the same honestly. I tie a lot of my value into my appearance. I used to have a whole routine of skin care that took me a while. Like 3-4 steps. I'm on accutane so I don't have to worry about breakouts so I've reduced that to washing my face with Cetaphil and moisturizing with Olay sensitive skin moisturizer and MDSOLARSCIENCE sunscreen during the day (hands down the best sunscreen I've used in my life). I recently got a very generous gift so my moisturizer will be upgraded to the Tatcha nig…

I love tartelette in bloom! It was my first eyeshadow palette. I also think Soft Glam by ABH is really good. And I have the Huda Beauty New Nude palette coming in the mail today. I don't go for crazy colorful looks and I feel like these palettes are the full spectrum of colors you need for light and soft eyeshadow colors. But they also have darker shades if needed for specific events.

Yeah. I've also been with my bf for 2 years and he knows this behavior is inappropriate and he would never do this. I also don't partake in this type if behavior. It's basic respect in a relationship.

Lately, I've been going to the gym a lot because my goal is to look hot af for both my boyfriend and myself. I've always liked taking care of myself, but now I'm trying extra hard by taking accutane, eating healthier, and wearing nicer makeup so I look pretty most of the time. I'm currently also trying to be a lot nicer to my boyfriend. School just ended for me and school always tends to put me in a bad, aggressive mood because I have to live on campus and deal with school 24/5. It makes me upse…

Yeah, the top comments here are all saying that she doesn't care about him and that she just cares about marriage. But this only means that they're incompatible. Why isn't anyone claiming that he doesn't care about her enough to marry her? That's just a valid an argument as that one.

If not, I guess I can always go to the small town in Mexico that my family's from because they're super traditional there. American culture is way too free with stuff like this and I've always found it weird.

I would never date a guy who was having sex with other people while he was trying to pursue something with me. I'm pretty much traditional about sex and almost waited until marriage. My long-term boyfriend is pretty ideal for me so I didn't wait. I also know that I'm valuable and won't be part of some guy's selection. I get exclusivity immediately or there's no potential for a future between me and the guy at all.

You know the SJWs were criticizing her for this and she responded saying she chose to do this and the patriarchy didn't force her to, right?

Cheating is a deal breaker. Even though he told you about it, that's not being honest. He cheated behind your back and the guilt ate away at him and made him feel bad. It appears that he never truly thought of you and your feelings. If the fact that he cheated is eating away at you, it will probably continue that way. You'll never know if he'll cheat again. If I were you, I'd leave and find support elsewhere. Maybe from your family or any friends or relatives because your husband is definitely n…

A year into the relationship. I wanted to wait until marriage but that got kinda hard and the dorm life makes it so easy not to wait so I gave up on my "wait til marriage" plan. But I still wanted to make sure that I could at least see us being together for a while.
