New people lead to other new people, connections, and more in college. Don't stereotype. If course there's the weird kid that you should avoid, but get yourself out there. The ones that are approachable (you know what I mean) are so guarded and have that "oh look a guy is coming to hit on me" mindset compared to any other place.
