Edit (before a reply): I'm only asking that you don't assume a minority of extreme views by some less than sane individuals represent women/feminism. I know this is a tired example, but the Westboro Baptist Church doesn't speak for Christianity. One man raping a woman doesn't mean all men support rape. In 1981, the National Organization for Women and Women's Equity Action League Educational and Legal Defense Fund went to trial in Rostker v. Goldberg for women to be registered for the draft. But the court ruled against it, saying that "training would be needlessly burdened by women recruits who could not be used in combat." We could try this again though.
