It shows the person I replied to is full of shit, yet for some reason people like to continue to spread misinformation.

acceptable women who only have 1-2 partners? You're literally the only person thinking that's what this post is referring to.

It doesn't say much for you if you read the whole post and all you got out if it was a throwaway one-liner analogy at the end. Whether this is anything new or fresh... I mean, is anything at this point? This place has been regurgitating ideas for years, but unless you're going to step up, why even bother posting? You contributed nothing and just complained without even offering any specifics.

It's even worse from what I've seen, they refer to men as scrotes which seems equivalent to calling all women roasties, a term relatively few people use seriously.

The weird thing is in 2 of those cases it looks like he left and the women had no way to pay but he got stuck with the bill, not them, even though they were the last ones there. Fucked up is right.

I'm surprised at the STD and assaulted comments. I'd bet some chick regretted how easy she was and threatened/pursued legal action and he realized the risks.

With the exception of someone that was previously extremely overweight and has a lot of excess skin on their stomach, I doubt there are people that could lose body fat and increase muscle mass without eventually showing muscle definition.

Attraction is non negotiable. I forget which book that particular nugget is from, but it's in the sidebar.

I know it's probably a long shot but I'd be very curious to see this study if you could possibly track it down, as that range seems right for what you're saying.

You can regurgitate your theory all you want. Not acknowledging the difference between a <40% chance and a >65% chance is nothing more than willful ignorance. Men have different reasons for being here, and different goals they're working towards using the toolkit that TRP provides. The Red Pill: Discussion of sexual strategy in a culture increasingly lacking a positive identity for men. There will be a next generation, regardless of the choices made by the readers/contributors here. Personally, …

This 50-50 blanket statement is the fantasy here. A lot of the points you make are correct, but this is an opinion piece, divorce rates are easy to look up and it's easy to see all those variables you mentioned and dismissed, are a major factor and are relevant to the issue, regardless of your fantasy.

Ok well sounds like we're in pretty similar situations. Cohabited with pre-TRP LTR and was engaged but luckily it was a pretty clean split and the idea seems crazy to me in retrospect. I'm currently trying to figure out if my desire to be a father outweighs my current unshackled lifestyle, and the only way I ever see myself intertwined financially or legally is if I find a woman that meets my criteria to be a mother to my children and then cohabitation no more than 6 months pre-marriage.

It's less of my opinion and more of TRP thought last I checked, although it seems every time I spend a few months between visits the general sentiment seems to be getting softer. If you live with a woman you lose so much leverage and independence.

Unless you're married, it shouldn't even be in question.

I feel like there's a handful of issues, this being one, that a lot of people here are uncomfortable with even though they're a direct result of the core principles of TRP philosophy.

That's a stretch. He's acknowledging the autonomy of women and saying you need to understand them if you expect to have success.

He should git gud. If she's getting around... he fucked up. Bros before hoes. IMO that applies to my actual bros, of which, there are few. Outside that circle, reality is harsh and life fucks everyone up. It's why most of us are here in one way or another.

You don't need to MGTOW to have the sense to not cohabitate with a chick.

If they have kids, fuck you it's no longer amoral being a potential homewrecker that hurts those kids. What if the "homewrecker" would be a significantly better father figure than biodad? Your final paragraph is a good description without your personal moral bias, which seems to hinge on the "homewrecker" label. We know what marriage is today. We know men's and women's nature and roles. If I don't know/respect the husband, and she's clearly interested, it wouldn't be my responsibility to do anyt…

or better never get married or enter LTR This definitely seems to be the majority opinion but what about the men that want to have a family? I don't see that discussed as much, and I think we desperately need more men that embody TRP to be a strong positive masculine influence for the next generation.

this is an absurd example but you get the meaning and the pattern behind it Do you? The man in your example was driven to bloodlust and actual lust by abstaining from masturbating for a month, killing another woman's mate and sowing his seed. So which is it? Abstaining would be good for evolution, or chronic masturbation would be? most of the character traits of humans today are against the evolutionary traits of 100 years ago Again, you seem to touch on evolution being an underlying factor to b…

Since I'm replying to your post and the part of it that the majority of the comments are discussing I'm obsessing? Masturbation and porn aren't underlying psychological factors. You talk about unmet needs, triggers, compulsively acting. Take some fucking responsibility. I'll pass on visiting NoFap, just like I pass on visiting just about every other "pro-men" community because none of them get the big picture in the way TRP does and they're all overwhelmed with BP bitches that think the band-aid…

Similar to other "pro-men" groups from what I've seen. They identify problems, but their BP lens makes finding a solution trickier than it needs to be. MRA - Too much talk, not enough action. PUA - Effective knowledge, but superficial compared to TRP. NoFap - similar to PUA, the idea and intention is good, but the lack of a cohesive big picture tying everything together just means things get skewed. TRP is the only community I've found that promotes unabashed self-improvement with a critical and…

You're looking at things through my favorite lens (evolutionary biology/psychology) but you're missing the mark on the evolutionary part of that. "Should only affect men..." implies masturbation and its effects on a person are the result of evolution. Masturbation is not beneficial to reproduction. The only way masturbation would have an effect evolution is if it made an individual more or less likely to reproduce. Taking that idea and looking at today's SMP, I'd wager chronic masturbators and p…

most of the wasted feeling after coming from fap is the internalized shame and guilt What are you basing this on? There's a surprising amount of stubborn ignorance in this post from multiple users seeming to deny and hamster away the actual physical and psychological effects they have on a person, like they're all trying to justify their addiction to pornography and masturbation. So many people here seem to be trying to minimize or belittle the abundant anecdotal experiences shared here and in o…

If you watch porn once a day you have no idea what desire for REAL women is like. Cut the porn out. Even if you just did that and didn't reduce how often you masturbate I think you'd notice a difference. Men's arousal is extremely visual. Porn is total overload and burns out your reward centers, making the response from the real thing drastically reduced, as well as skewing your expectations and standards. I see The Rational Male was already referenced, I'll throw No More Mr. Nice Guy in the dis…
