Wise words! I'm half way there I think. What you say is true about knowing self respect. I had none 5 years ago so I let this woman treat me with no respect for 5 years. I was weak and I did what she said. Then little by little I started respecting myself and not allowing her to disrespect me until in October 2018 I respected myself fully and said good bye to her. She was toxic and through that hardship I now will never be second best or put a woman on a pedestal. My mindset is totally different…

That's a good idea bro!

Personally I don't think I am too old. I think it's society that labels me as too old. I don't feel 40 or look it to be honest. I'm thinking slightly so I do get my hair cut short although I think I might shave it soon. My fitness is good, I have to watch what I eat cause it's easy to gain weight but I lift heavy and keep progressing. Sounds like you've got it made man!

I've noticed that and I don't listen to be honest. I know for a fact women who say it's creepy will be the first to jump into bed with a fit older man. You'd be stupid not to.

I totally agree. After my previous relationship I think late 20's early 30's is my preference now.

That's shit man and a shame. My ex had no problems with my age. She was really mature and I do not look or come across as the age I am so it fitted well apart from the toxic part haha

That's a good point! Emasculation of men is a big problem. You only have to look at the media and entertainmment industry to see the false shit they are feeding everyone.

Your exactly right! I've done my partying, getting myself into stupid debt, drinking too much etc etc . I'm now financially stable and yeah I've had 2 decades of perfecting my bedroom skills too. I can last and I can please unlike when I was 20 haha

Nice dude! Late 20's early 30's is good. I've dated older women when I was younger and I know which I prefer now. But yeah if there's chemistry then all is good.

Hahaha thanks for the vote of confidence but your right. I've done all the crazy shit and now I'm stable and centred.

It's society man. As I see it if both are attracted to each other plus have some kind of connection then what the hell. I dated a 34 year old woman when I was 24 so I've had both end of the scale.

Yeah that's good advice actually. Think I could cut the lifting down or reschedule at least thanks.

Yeah Todd is that RSD Todd? I remember watching him around 5 years ago and he was talking about hooking up with a 18 year old.

Hahaha that's very true! Yeah at 40 you've passed all the career shit and your much more centred than when your in your 20's.

That's a good bit of advice about not trying to act younger or love younger stuff thanks. That's just shows you'll change to try and conform which isn't attractive.

Yeah I've been told I look like I'm in my early 30's especially now I look after my self and lift. Think I'll start making friendly conversations up like you suggest without looking creepy and that's a good suggestion about Instagram and the gym thanks man.

Fantastic advice! My ex said men under 30 didn't do anything for her. She said she didn't want to be a baby sitter haha. She also said the sex was better. I took control and made sure she was satisfied so yeah I can see why older men can be attractive.

My ex had some really deep narcassitic traits but I've learnt a lot from that relationship and the red flags to look out for. In fact I saw the flags but ignored them. I see loads of mentally healthy young women but guess I picked the wrong one. That's the thing about been older, younger women know your more likely to have your shit together in life and they find it attractive.

Nice to hear from someone doing well at around my age. Yeah that's a good point about chasing. Luckily I'm not like that. I won't pursue if not interested but I'm still finding that I feel creeped out approaching younger women. There's a few in my gym who are very attractive but I'm holding off approaching because I'm afraid of looking like a creep. Any suggestions?

Your totally right. Guess because society says it's wrong I'm a little hesitant to say that I'm attracted to that age range. My ex was stunning and her body was amazing and something your not going to find often in a 30+ woman.

Yeah that's true and it was her mother who introduced me to her because she didn't realise I was only 7 years younger than herself hahaha

Yeah I get that. We didn't get any comments when we were dating mainly because unless I told you my age you wouldn't guess I was 40 and my ex looked older than 25. I'm not saying I'm attracted to women generally in their 20's but I'm certainly not attracted to women around my age or above.

Noted thank you. I have no excuse really. Basically I made a lot of bad choices but I've learnt my lesson this time. I do limit my time on Facebook but I do agree that it's one of the worse things going, it's like a slow acting poison!

Yeah true enough.

Yeah you're right. I did block her after that. I was just torturing myself and allowing her to try and piss me off.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
