I believe you worded it best, about wishing this community being a little more open/diverse overall VS. how I poorly did, by mentioning about gender -- HA! Oh, well. I've been thinking about my kind of humor for sometime now. The jokes I make naturally seem to either be depreciating, either myself, the person I'm speaking with, or a 3rd party. I've noticed that my humour can be repulsive because it can also be hurtful (mildly, but still) I'm learning how to make jokes that are either neutral or make the listener feel better.
