dude i get you're just doing the best you can and trying to relate but you're really looking at this all wrong. this process should be fun at every step. you don't need to "entertain" anyone.

For me it's not necessarily a question of "how much" im exposing - it's just about where it's coming from. Am I making myself vulnerable because I'm confident in who I am and it would take the conversation somewhere interesting, or am I making myself vulnerable to draw some sort of attention to myself or seek a reaction from the girl? I think if you answer that question the amount you expose works itself out

I know this is brought up over and over on this subreddit, but have you read Models? "Fake it till you make it" works in some scenarios, but pretending to be confident with women is sort of like walking a tightrope. Rarely you'll manage to run across but most of the time you'll fall off and not learn anything. I think you want to ditch that idea and start working on yourself and cultivating more self esteem and confidence. Forget about girls for now, how is your social life in general?

Did you have a question?

This. You are probably so reactive to these things because you need to work and invest in yourself more, while also cold approaching women in real life (not tinder).

cannot tell if trolling

i think something you should keep in mind is to keep talking to/approaching other girls while youre working on this one. it'll make it way easier to not overthink things

why not just make it easy and instead cold approach different girls? I'm certainly no expert but in my experience, if you have been friends with a girl for awhile and she has shown no romantic interest in you, she absolutely will not reciprocate. it's different of course if you've been friends and shes been showing interest but for whatever reason (you're not interested, or taken, etc) you weren't interested at the time

hey man, if you want to get involved in music but don't know where to start, the first thing I would say is to find a good teacher. I don't know what your current skill level is, but I got my first gigs through subbing for my teacher. Obviously this doesn't happen all the time, but you can also take interest in your instructor's projects and meet plenty of people by supporting those. The key is to find an instructor you both learn a lot from and can relate to/be great friends with.

" I honestly just said what I had in mind" is all you need to do, all the time. i dont know why these guys are saying you sound over invested.

say "no". if she doesn't want to meet if she can't bring her friend - go find another girl.

" But looking deeper into myself I believe it all stems from the lack of confidence in your own sexual being. Instead of going after her as a romantic interest you crush that urge and try to just be friends with her because you don't have the confidence in the idea that she will also be interested in you more than a friend." /thread

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
