| 2 | Most online discussion revolved around 'average' people. What should those with disabilities that are not average do? They are often dismissed as an afterthought. In the year 2020 approximately 1 in 36 children were born autistic.there was a really cool study that looked communication across autistic people vs across autistic and allistic people. They used a game of telephone in three groups; one with all autistic people, one with all allistic people and a mixed group. the first two groups retained a similar number of details throughout the chain but the mixed group did significantly worse. some food for thought. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/05/23 08:46 AM |
