Get a load of this: Man tells of girlfriend in /r/askmen getting upset about not being able to find used condoms in the trash can containing his sperm.I have seen plenty of people refuse to accept responsibility for their own actions. I have seen plenty of people choose to do something, have a bad result, and then try to act like it was not their fault. It's a normal response, since it can be very hard to admit that we did something really wrong. It is often easier to blame others, at least at first. This is something that a lot of people struggle with, regardless of gender. EDIT: As I mentioned earlier, there are many common behaviors that ar… | /r/MensRights | 04/12/13 01:07 AM
Get a load of this: Man tells of girlfriend in /r/askmen getting upset about not being able to find used condoms in the trash can containing his sperm.Well, in the case where it actually happened, I doubt he turned the condom inside out and rinsed it off with water before throwing it out. He probably just put in in the trash, sperm and all. But, I agree that trust needs to be built. I do think it would be difficult to build trust in his relationship, given his actions. | /r/MensRights | 04/12/13 12:52 AM
Get a load of this: Man tells of girlfriend in /r/askmen getting upset about not being able to find used condoms in the trash can containing his sperm.I did. I read the links in the side bar in the red pill sub too. I did not find them convincing. Just as you did not find my comment convincing. The link that you supplied generalizes all women, to say that they all think in the same way. Women are people just like men. All people are varied. We are all influenced by our experiences. We all think in different ways from each other. We all make mistakes. I don't believe that it's one gender making mistakes over the other. And I don't believe you c… | /r/MensRights | 04/12/13 12:42 AM
Get a load of this: Man tells of girlfriend in /r/askmen getting upset about not being able to find used condoms in the trash can containing his sperm.Again, if he doesn't trust her enough not to jack his sperm, they probably shouldn't be in a relationship. Again, sperm is not going to survive that long in the trash. Again, the steps he took were far more than was necessary to protect himself, and show a level of paranoia that a lot of people recognized as unhealthy. But, this isn't what I wanted to debate. There's a great debate about this going on the AskMen thread. If you want all of the viewpoints, you can just go there. What I want to do … | /r/MensRights | 04/12/13 12:41 AM
Get a load of this: Man tells of girlfriend in /r/askmen getting upset about not being able to find used condoms in the trash can containing his sperm.Do you subscribe to the red pill? AskWomen is specifically a subreddit designed to allow people to get responses from women. Obviously, men contribute to the discussion, but if your comment is seen as detrimental to the mission of the sub, it's going to get deleted. It's in the rules in the side bar. There's a reason it's different from AskReddit or AskMen. They are specifically looking for responses from women. | /r/MensRights | 04/12/13 12:36 AM
Get a load of this: Man tells of girlfriend in /r/askmen getting upset about not being able to find used condoms in the trash can containing his sperm.I am familiar with the subreddit. That's how I recognized the term. I'm afraid I don't agree with the sentiments expressed in the sub. I know too many women too well. I also avoid generalizing people based on gender, race, culture, or anything else. I firmly believe that all people are individuals, and should be treated as such. But, I also come from a family of intellectuals, and was trained in the science of logical reasoning. I choose to surround myself with people who do the same. | 5 | Get a load of this: Man tells of girlfriend in /r/askmen getting upset about not being able to find used condoms in the trash can containing his sperm. The point is, they definitely didn't delete the thread because they didn't want anyone to see it. They deleted it because another group brigaded it, and they didn't want people to think that the other group's views were their own. AskWomen doesn't take any precautions against non-subsribers coming in and trolling, so, they're susceptible to that. | /r/MensRights | 04/12/13 12:23 AM
Get a load of this: Man tells of girlfriend in /r/askmen getting upset about not being able to find used condoms in the trash can containing his sperm. When I saw the thread, almost all of the posts were: "It's your right to do this, but your gf is probably going to be upset that you don't trust her. Also, you can just rinse it out and throw it in the garbage. Sperm is not that resilient." It's the same responses that he got in the AskMen thread. Rinsing it in rubbing alcohol and putting it in his bag is overkill. If he wants to be safe, he can turn it inside out and rinse it off with water. Then he can just put in the garbage and the whole thi… | /r/MensRights | 04/12/13 12:19 AM
Get a load of this: Man tells of girlfriend in /r/askmen getting upset about not being able to find used condoms in the trash can containing his sperm. Now I'm even more certain that it was the red pill guys who brigaded that thread, since you mentioned "hamster wheels" and I've never heard that term used anywhere else. | /r/MensRights | 04/12/13 12:07 AM
Get a load of this: Man tells of girlfriend in /r/askmen getting upset about not being able to find used condoms in the trash can containing his sperm.I read that thread before it was deleted. It had the exact same responses as the AsMen thread. It turns out, most people agree that this guy was paranoid and shouldn't have been in a relationship where he didn't trust his girlfriend. They said it was deleted because it got brigaded. That means a bunch of people from another sub took it over (probably by downvoting everyone and then posting their own comments and upvoting just those en masse). The result was that the responses did not in any way … | /r/MensRights | 04/12/13 12:06 AM
