This was a nice read. The takeaway for me is the comfort zone and the tipping point that made OP take action in his own way. And continuously trying despite setbacks. For whatever reason OP did not want to get out of his comfort zone and in a moment (after seeing someone else make out with a girl he liked) he had his tipping point to take action. The actions he took seems to be mental mostly in the sense that he just took steps to do the things his comfort zone or mental blocks wouldn’t let him.…

It does help a lot but what helps the most is true-confidence! True-confidence is no matter how good or bad you look dancing, you genuinely dont give a shit. Your out there to have fun and if you end up connecting with someone, GREAT!

This. I'm probably about a 4, but I walk around like I'm a solid 7 or 8. Maybe a bit of an exaggeration but women have told me I am not the best looking but still attractive. Most credit the charm but I credit all the various things I've read on /r/seduction and other places. The whole "girls dont like me cause I am x, or dont have y, or z.." rhetoric is really unattractive. I mean think about it, do you really want to be around someone that talks like that?

If you don't have dark circles, wrinkles or poor skin, would any of this benefit me?

Its really interesting how these subtle things make a major impact. I haven't tried this myself nor am I a psychology expert but when OP looks at her shoes, he's showing some hesitation and nervousness which makes the whole thing seem more genuine. Goes back to the two pieces of advice thats often mentioned here: 1. It's not about what you say as it's about your body language. and 2.. When you go for the kiss, you have officially "turned the knob" and showed her that you have testicles. Win win.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
