I am a woman. I don't think that women do this intentionally. Are you sure that only women do this? Sometimes a relationship falls apart because priorities change and the honeymoon phase is over. Has this person communicated how he feels? I am on this sub because I am a egalitarian. I think this is not only a thing women do, but also men. There are men that are workaholics and go out with they guys instead of spending time when their gf or family. Idk your tone just demonizes women.

Sometimes it not changing your mind but you got pressured into it and realize it's not fun halfway through, and then telling there partner that they felt uncomfortable. If you go around telling everyone and their mom, and the police that's another thing.

Honestly some women like the degrading feeling of being raped by someone unattractive. Or you could just like heavy/older guys.

It's called Consent Non Consent. You consent to have a safe word. It is sexy to ask if you can do that kink shit. Like just ask her if she wants to take things slow or have kinky punish sex.

There is a balance to it. All women have varied ideas on what's too far.

You have brought up a shocking case study introspective which has changed my mind. Due to relevent information to the situation, I would suppose that prior mental health issues are the case. I hope your family seeks a therapist if you have a General Practitioner. Otherwise, I am have learned that I shall reassess my relationship, value, and abuse mentalities. I will seek a licenced psychologist or define my Pantheism.

I have moved my abuse to other avenues I suppose. I will review this further.

I value health over beauty because valuing beauty has led me down a path of mental disorders.

I was not trying to victim blame. I have been an abuser and abusee, myself. I was trying to teach him, which I know realise was ill-advised. I should have clarified. Domestic abuse happens for many different reasons, but in future relationships, I would try to full-heartedly and hopefully rationally to choose my partner. Even if it was not possible during the abusive relationship's forming. If that was not done, I am sorry about that.

I was taking a stance to learn from it. I really should have throught more deeply about my post. I know. I made generalizations which were not correct. I am also a hypocrite, but at least I'm trying my best to be honest. I didn't mean to blame him. I wanted him to consider the reasoning behind her abuse to understand her viewpoint better. I am not saying that it was his fault intiarly or at all, but understanding what happened and why can help in future relationships. I personally am introspecti…

I have seen this happen personally. You are right victimhood is easy to fall prey to, but wrong that it's so difficult to solve. You basically have to let consequences ruin their course, no enabling. Once you stop enabling, the person stops.

I am not familar with the disorder. I have a immature philosophy and it could serve me well to contemplate it more, which I am doing. I am sorry to intrude your safe space, but I am trying to learn.

I do not believe you that logic does not work. If your logic is right, then you'll get the right solution. This is why I suggested, analyzing a feminist's viewpoints and considering why they think that. If you spend enough time analyzing and you can get in their frame of mind, you can destroy their argument from the inside out by teaching, showing and explaining.

Okay, I understand your viewpoint. I don't mean to blame you, but I'd like you to learn from your mistakes in future relationships. If she had other mental health issues you were not aware of when the relationship started, I pity everyone evolved. I am an egalitarian.

Some people take the time to take their ideas into consideration given reputable research. Personally, with my discussions I allowed mistakes and learn from my actions. What men's right's activist's need to do to get better divorce court rulings, help male victim's of domestic abuse, and work more collectively toward a societal shift is this: tell women, personally, directly and openly, furthermore, publicly, collectively and stratigeticly, about their grievances. If you care enough to set your …

Domestic abuse comes from all genders. It's complex. I'm sorry to have that happen to you, but consider your relationship with her as a whole. If you would have considered her feelings throughout the whole relationship, would she have started hitting you? Did you hit back, agitating the situation? Did you seek help from a parent, doctor or domestic abuse hotline? No matter your answers there is no excuse for abuse, but the reason is there: whether drug abuse, mental health issues, unhealthy rela…

The women in which you are interacting with have been probably abused by men. This leads them to conclude their ideas. These ideas are enforced by the people they have chosen to interact with. Do not take offense to their behavior. I would suggest re-evaluating the way you tell your abuse story. Acknowledge the person your talking to's perspectives. Give full context and go into detail. Let the women know what other women can really do.

I am a woman and agree that this is completely obsurd. This is why I'm egalitarian and people always say that men aren't oppressed in anyway. From looking at the comments it seems like a man would have gotten 15+ years. This was brutal and could have ruined or taken this man's life.
