A while ago, I suddenly decided to let my childhood dreams guide me. A motorcycle, music, history, really trying new things... The last few months of my life have been the happiest and most accomplished by far.

Good post. Before I found TRP, I stumbled across the cold shower challenge. My challenging myself and committing to a cold shower each morning (I just so happened to discover this challenge in winter) I slowly learned that many of the fears and stresses that I faced every day lived only in my head. Forcing myself to be uncomfortable helped me learn discipline and frame and today I "take risks and try adventurous things" as my daily routine. Good share!

You're right, the harsh truth is much better and more attractive than some stupid white lie designed to keep society running smoothly or some shit like that. EDIT: Funny how the phrase "white lie" exists to somehow make a lie better than it is. Seems like a very blue-pill phrase.
