People who want the feelings they get from interacting with someone they find attractive at the click of a button, and someone they can also get rid of with the click of a button, perhaps? All of the power and control, for less than the cost of a taxi fare in a major city? These things are vending machines for emotional fast food. The feelings aren't "genuine", but they're close enough for a 'quick meal'. That said, I don't know this from personal experience, just what has made me fleetingly thi…

She's talking about the 'butterflies in her stomach'. That's not the sexual arousal feeling, that's the physiological state of anxiety that bad boy types and narcissists induce behave by being unpredictable and being 'dangerous'. People in this sub often fail to realise that 'being dangerous' doesn't need to be about risk of physical harm (hence all the mindless yammering about criminals), the risk of emotional harm can just as easily provoke the anxiety state that causes the 'butterflies' sensa…

some give-and-take in every relationship I think this is one of the main things missing in a lot of online discussion about these topics, and what often makes them feel so disconnected from the lived experience of the real world.

It's a balancing act. Be kind, gentle and supportive when those are required, but don't only and always be those things, and do not lead courtship and re-seduction with those things. Be challenging, creative, playful and surprising. Limit your availability, set strong and enforced boundaries and demonstrate clear leadership. Above all, maintain frame.

He means thirty-five: https://old.reddit.com/r/firstimpression/comments/ngusu0/35m_what_is_it/ Pretty decent looking bloke by some standards too, but the fact he has such a weak frame that he defaults to age-faking in inconsequential internet comments to push his party-pill concept says a lot.

No, I get what you're saying. It is just quite narrow in its applicability and produces a very narrow type of success for a pretty narrow demographic, the way you've presented it. It's an interesting idea, and it probably could be generalised to 'organising social events' because of the skills required to do so - and the necessary forming of social connections. However the hysterics about the study you found really dragged down your post imo.

READ THAT ABSTRSCT A MILLION TIMES YOU PANSIES. I read it once. It had nothing to do with throwing parties? There's this (predictable) thing that people like to do when debating on the internet which is to throw a study about as proof of one thing, then use that supposed credibility to back a completely unsupported idea. Results indicate that dominance and the traits associated with it predict men’s mating success, so.... TRP then? but attractiveness and the traits associated with it do not. Bla…

Once you know the handbook it's pretty easy to work out who is FDS though, there are certain things they just won't compromise on. Plus, they're meant to make FDS specific alts, and then delete those every few months to reduce dox potential.

In the same way that TRP has no time for incels or blackpills, radfems has no time for libfems.

Most women are liberal feminists. FDS women hate liberal feminism, and most of their handbook is the opposite of what liberal feminists do.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/21 03:34 PM

FDS is quite a specific thing. To be an FDS woman you actually have to read and understand the handbook, because they have very strict rules about what you should do and what you mustn't do. What you're talking about is just general entitlement, happens regardless of a person's gender politics.

The subs aren't at outright war yet. https://www.reddit.com/r/TwoXChromosomes/wiki/moderationpolicy Look at the related subs box, and you'll see a suspicious absence of one the most popular female subs. Similar story on /r/Feminism/ TwoX is much more liberal feminist than it is radical feminist (if you're not sure about that split, radfem is antiporn and more WGOTW). /r/Feminism has a mix of radfems, libfems and other schools of feminism, with more of an anti-porn but kink-tolerant position. Hmm, I stand corrected then. Interestingly THIS subreddit is the number one place for FDS users to post in outside of FDS: https://subredditstats.com/subreddit-user-overlaps/femaledatingstrategy Although, that is perhaps less surprising/interesting than it looks, most relationship subs and female subs are banning FDS references and also FDS users on sight, whereas there's no such policy here. The other feminist subs have no interest in them either.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/21 02:32 PM

I feel like you're overstating it, I've only seen maybe 3 or 4 users that express FDS views as per the handbook as their own opinions. On the other hand there are quite a few people here who like to read FDS and can comment (with varying degrees of accuracy) about FDS viewpoints. I fall into the latter camp, although I'm also not a woman.

A lot of men would enjoy getting romantic with an unconscious woman, ... which is sexual assault. A lot of men I wasn't talking about a lot of men, I was talking about the men who are in a position to be the chooser, because women actively pursue them.

I'm assuming you meant boys+men. Yes, my bad. Thanks for picking it up. And that's because gender studies is not biology, it has nothing to do with biology or any of the "real sciences", it's sociology, and they're talking about gender and not sex That's a bit harsh on gender studies, it's still informed by other strands of academic discourse. I guess these days the preferred terminology would be AFAB, AMAB though. Either way, the term 'males' and 'females' has widespread and specific usage and …

You'd think so... but the discourse in pop feminism circles (vs academic ones) never really deals with even the most minor of subtleties. What about health sciences and social sciences as well? Even in gender studies it is frequently appropriate to talk about females (girls+women) and males (boys+women). Ultimately I think it's about the males (be they boys or men) using the word with inherent disrespect and in a disparaging way - they are the issue, not the word. It's no less offensive to call …

Being around a man who will mix up refering to everyone else in the room as other people, men, boys, bros, homies/friends, or just by calling them by their names, it feels dehumanizing to be referred to as "that female" how can you expect girls to treat you with respect and kindness when your way of getting their attention is by yelling "hey female!" In both the examples you state, I would consider the use of the language demeaning and inappropriate. However, the carte blanche declaration of the…

“I’m a single man and my home is spotless. Stop acting like it’s brain surgery!" Most of the guys who say this aren't actually cleaning their homes properly anyway. That perspective coming from a man who is quite fastidious in some areas of cleaning, but not others.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/21 07:53 AM
12

Men simply don't give a shit about 90% of the shit women feel they need to clean. This is just because those men aren't cleaning properly. Some women do over-clean for sure, but most men vastly under-clean when it comes to stuff like mould and dust-mite prevention. Periodic deep cleaning is vital, but most people don't have the time to do it in one go, so it gets spread out. There are objective cleaning standards, it's what you get when you pay professionals to do it.

Are they Asian Yes. did they exclusively date white men No. The way Asian women date is s fetish, simple as that. Having lived in a variety of western and Asian countries, I have only known a few Asian women to date like that. Sure some do, but most don't. Where I live currently, foreigner white men are actually viewed as a poor option by most local women.

It's only a fetish when you get weird about it. If you live in the US and you find yourself more attracted to one race than the other, and date locally according to whom you find attractive, then that's just your preference. if you live in the US, become obsessed with finding a partner from a certain race, make it a core part of your identity and go so far as pursue this overseas, then that's another matter.

As a fellow male PoC, they're quite emphatically not "your women". In fact, if that's your attitude, that's probably why women from your ethnic group won't date you, because it is one of the things that a lot of women view as a giant red flag.

However, we are going through a transition period as now for the first time men and women both need to work for money. There are growing pains as we have to transition out of women being the heads of the home and men being the heads of the family. This process of 'cultural negotiation' is quite a fascinating one. I mean, the people who are in these positions know what it takes to succeed in them, from an internal perspective. The expectation of a man being married to perform in these roles is not just about the domestic side of things, but also as a measure of his emotional stability, whether or not he can socialise properly in critical informal settings, his proneness to 'bachelor behaviours' etc. That said, exceptional candidates with track records aren't subject to those standards.

That’s not any worse than what trp advocates for men to spin plates and be seeing a bunch of women at the same time and not tell them about it. The amount of outrage at that post was frankly hilarious if you compare it to the strategies advocated in the manosphere I think a good deal of the outrage came from the idea of keeping the desired man waiting yet then having a rotation of guys to sleep with. I never said it was so bad, more just that it was still bad. Women can’t decide to participate in something for the glory , fame and opportunities while simultaneously calling it sexist The women who participate (often organising, promoting and supporting, in addition to competing) don't think it's sexist, in general. It's other people who think it's sexist. That said there are plenty of people who act counter to their own broader interests due to other pressures/motivations, and there are also …

I see what you're arguing regarding neuroplasticity, but the discussion about brain maturation isn't really just about that, it's about the brain as part of the development of the human organism through adolescence. Consider the equivalent adaptiveness of the musculoskeletal system. It goes through a period of intense growth and development through puberty, and it's clear that we draw an endpoint of maturation when someone stops growing. However training of the skeletal muscle can result in hype…

What do you think? Are pageants sexist? The old school feminist in me has a hard time shaking off the idea that no matter how one reinvents and modernises the concept, it's still something that grew out of deeply sexist roots and is a literal parade of objectification, and they're usually controlled by problematic people. At the same time, they certainly do seem to serve as career bolstering opportunities for winners, and for women who don't necessarily have the privilege nor intellect to achiev…

I'm surprised/not-surprised at how much push back this article is getting, because it is (accidentally) very red pilled. It's just that the author's construct of alpha is rather misguided (or the conventional sociology version, really). two big winners were confident (72 percent sought this trait for an ideal date; 74 percent sought this trait for an ideal romantic partner) and assertive (48 percent sought this trait for an ideal date; 36 percent sought this trait for an ideal romantic partner) …

We need to be more specific when we say “be yourself.” Like “Be a better version of yourself” or “Be yourself with a few more socially positive traits.” People who need advice need a LOT of direction. This is absolutely true. It is age appropriate advice to give young people, because it's really about them grasping the broad thrust of the idea, but many people definitely need follow up and more guidance as to how to implement it.

The selfish gene says every man work hard, invent stuff or succeed in life to enhance his reproductive success and attract more women. That isn't what Dawkins says at all. This is a good point, the noisy voices are drowning out any healthy model for young men to follow, or for men to follow in general. I think often if a man puts on an unrealistically hypermasculine front initially, his inability to keep up that front will ultimately be his downfall. For me it wasn't so much that I portray an unrealistic ideal in an active sense of 'putting it on'. I do my best to try and be relatively consistent and transparent, it's more just that life happens and can temporarily undo a lot of the self-work that it took to get to where I am today. When it happens he might go “women don’t like emotions” when …

Status by itself isn't necessarily the metric, it's useful status. That makes sense when you think about the fact that status is a social metric; it's social power, but it also needs to be congruent with the way you are perceived. A 'bad boy' who is low status amongst his friends group (if they are otherwise average guys) reinforces his appeal by being congruent. An 'alpha leader' type who is disrespected and held in low regard by his friends group loses appeal by being incongruent. It'd be nice…

Lmao, how is this not flamingly obvious to this sub? I don't know, it really does make me wonder what is going on sometimes. I can't work out if it's just the way the internet tends to filter for and amplify certain points of view in ways that are disproportionate to the mainstream consensus, or if it actually is truly reflective of changes in the social fabric. I used to think it was mostly just the former, but the rise and astoundingly widespread acceptance of QAnon (given what it proposes) su…

I tend to think about her fulfilment at work, its impact on her happiness, her safety, the demands of the career as they might impact our time together and the amount of outside work commitment. I'd anticipate her career would be values (hers) aligned, and our values would overlap. any specific jobs S…

while other girls sit there like: how?! There are a bunch of reasons for this, but one thing to consider is that people are often attracted to archetypes and how well someone fits them. Or in other words, not nerdy enough to be the nerdy girl, not fit enough to be the fitness hottie, not warm enough to be the girl-next-door, not fun enough to be the fun fat girl, just average-in-between where people tend to just drift towards more obvious versions. A commonly cited source exploring this idea is the "T-shirt" study: Abstract One substantial benefit of sexual reproduction could be that it allows animals (including humans) to react rapidly to a continuously changing environmental selection pressure such as coevolving parasites. This counteraction would be most efficient if the females were able to provide their progeny with certain allele combinations for loci which may be crucial in the parasite-host arms race, for example the MHC (major his…

Women SAY they want their men to be able to cry. But if he did that as often and openly as a woman, she would feel less attracted to him. It is what it is. Sadly, this has been my experience too. I'm not convinced this is necessarily all biological, but for the individual in a relationship it doesn't really matter what mix of social conditional, culture and biology it is, it just matters that it happens. If we get rid of these notions our societies would be more pragmatic about how we behave and men and women can acquire their true potentials. This is the overall goal of egalitarian feminism, and the dream that egalitarians have had for centuries. In my part of Asia, the family unit is critical because the social safety net doesn't really exist, and there's no aged care. So you need your family - people marry younger than in the West, and divorce rates are much lower. There are also different attitudes towards sex and sexuality. That said, there's plenty of infidelity and hook-ups, it just exists as a largely unspoken culture. Domestic violence and other forms of spousal abuse are also significant problems, more so than in the West.

The reason the vast majority of women don't give compliments is because most men misinterpret them as expressions of interest and an invitation to hit on her. It's also partly socialisation and the way the patriarchy mistreats men - not just the way women withhold certain compliments from men, but the way EVERYONE does this including other men. Men are expected to be tough and operate independent of praise of their person. Men should only be complimented on their possessions, prowess and task ac…

Ah yes, the wordage and its things! I guess the other aspect of why oneitis is painful is because AWALT + hypergamy + monkeybranching + lure-of-Chad. But even then, it all adds up to suggest that women can love men, just not as men might hope. It's a deep devotion that last so long as the man performs and there's no monkey branch option ready? I still feel like that whole analysis is still missing a lot of things, because in the real world things often play out quite differently, especially with…

Yes, I remember reading stuff along those lines, now you mention it. But it's still the romantic/caring love that's in question here isn't it? A man wants his woman to love him unconditionally, but her love is conditional on his performance. It's just that the romantic/caring love is conditional, rather than unconditional and thus supposedly "real"? For the man, falling in love is usually described as having oneitis. I guess that implies it's romantic love, but that romantic love is of no real v…

I know it might be hard for you to understand but some people just love each other Some parts of the red pill believe that women are incapable of loving men (and possibly vice versa, but that part usually seems to go unsaid?) It's connected to their theory of female solipsism, which supposedly makes it impossible for women to truly understand and love men. In Red Pill, solipsism (e.g. female solipsism) refers to the female's tendency to frame everything she experiences or witnesses in terms of h…

I am not at all concerned about other men in competitive mode. Two things concern me about other men in the sort of bar/club situations you are talking about: 1) If I'm outnumbered and things look like they could go south. 2) Genuinely crazy motherfuckers who have no regards for male code and are just out there looking to fuck someone up. These are the types who are just as happy hitting/stabbing you from behind without warning, and it doesn't matter if you're trained or if you're armed, because…

Ah well that's a bit different then. FDS scenarios tend to be for people in the career phase of their life. The hardline FDS advice is that college age women shouldn't be dating, but instead they should be levelling up. The slightly looser FDS advice for college age women is that they should be extremely careful about how much emotional investment they give to relationships at that age. When it comes down to it though, you can still demonstrate High Value by putting in resources in other ways, o…

One thing I think gets lost in the discussion at PPD is that FDS is radical feminist, and many of them actively hate liberal feminism and liberal feminists. So on one hand, you have the liberal feminists who think equality is fantastic. 50-50, low pressure dates, sexual liberation, pro-ethical porn, supporters of male gender role diversity. On the other hand you have this new breed of radical feminist - some are actively gender separatist/WGOTW, and others want what looks like traditional courti…

I feel like this reply might have fit better on a different comment chain? This one was about 'why not drinks dates' rather than 'why dinner dates'. But on the topic of dinner dates, I guess it just comes down to another shit test type filter except there's no way of AAing your way out of it - the easiest thing to do not bother with the woman in question. It works as a selection filter because some men are playing a different risk game than others. For you it sounds like you think the game is po…

Well, I'm a guy and I like coffee, people watching and cafe environments, so I'd be up for it. I would have some ideas about possible ways extend the date afterwards if the coffee went well. Grocery shopping would be an unusual one, but why not segue it into cooking a meal together? I know you meant it as a joke, but I could definitely have a lot of fun with a similarly inclined woman. Tons and tons of stuff to talk about and learn about each other in a supermarket!

That's a fair call. I'd say every now and then both have some pretty good posts, but most of the time it's all pretty humdrum. Main difference I see is that TRP allows much more dissent, whereas FDS will just kick out women who don't agree. Female social matrix in action, I think.

To live life in fear of others over such lack of trust in oneself is just sad to me. You seem to have quite polarised thinking. You can acknowledge that there's risk involved without 'living in fear of others'. It is a sign that you do not believe women are incapable of handling responsibility. Did you mean this double negative? It doesn't match up with your first sentence. That is a pretty tell tale sign that you hate men, you see them as the enemy. Or any other low pressure date. That's the thing, they don't want low-pressure dates, because low value men flock to those and refuse to invest in potential matches. If you want a quality man, you shouldn't get those who put a tremendous amount of effort into women they haven't met yet. I get the feeling FDS was originally crafted for real-world meets. So you encounter some one, exchange details and then set up a date. Some FDSers use online dating, but it's not strongly promoted. So in that con…

Not at all, many women are up for coffee dates, walk dates and casual first dates. Indeed, liberal feminism fought quite hard to create an environment where low-pressure dates were acceptable. Many women are also quite tolerant of men making choices they don't like, but go along with it to see if things get better. FDSers are very oriented towards keeping their standards for male behaviour strict.

How is that any different then racists assuming that all black men are vile monsters until they prove otherwise? It's a situational risk. Dating is a potential at-risk scenario for women, even though it's meant to be fun. What the hell is the problem with getting drinks? The rationale is that it is a bad idea to have any significant amount of alcohol on board for initial dates. Firstly, you're meeting up with a strange man, and so you are potentially putting yourself at risk by drinking. Secondly, you're meeting up with someone to vet them for further dates and compatibility. You should have your mind as sharp as possible. Thirdly, some people get disproportionality uppity when other people won't drink. This is o…

I feel like that's a fair comment about FDS the sub. At times it drifts back to level-up orientation, but these days is getting overrun with non-dating stuff and becoming more of a radfem women's issues forum. That is one way to look at it, but I don't think it's fair to assess the absence or presence of consistent logic through the traditionalist vs non-traditionalist lens, as FDS never claims to use that as a basis. On the other hand the fact that the strategy is entirely self-serving is a valid criticism, as FDSers themselve would say that this is the entire point, it's meant to be a strategy for the benefit of women. FDS doesn't ascribe to the holistic view of female orgasm in practice (in terms of what gets posted and the comments within), although they do support it in theory. Holistic doesn't mean spiritual, at least not from a conventional medical viewpoint. Yeah, I think it's incredibly insidious in that way - there are definitely neurochemical feedback loops that reinforce porn consumption, and addiction is a real thing. I think that is one area where FDS has changed my opinions a little. I think it's incredibly difficult for young boys and girls to comprehend th…

Two ways. 1) The trauma is being inflicted on porn actresses, and they are anti-trauma being inflicted on any women, including pickmeishas and sex workers. 2) Because young men watch porn and get their sexual desires attuned to the way porn depicts sex, with its more violent tendencies like choking and non-consensual kink, young men are more likely to inflict sexual trauma on women. It's not about porn watching being traumatic, necessarily, although abuse survivors may find it triggering.

I mean, I think like everything it's probably multifactorial. One of the big reasons FDS is antiporn is because of their bizarrely biologically ignorant belief that all male sexual dysfunction is directly because of porn, and that all female PIV orgasm difficulty is purely because of male technique inadequacy, despite decades of efforts by earlier generations of feminists to bring the mainstream to the point of view that female sexuality should be viewed through a more holistic lens and that dif…

What other frames of reference are you talking about? A good example would be how one of the abstracts that been linked here defines TRP as 'anti-feminist' and a construct of 'male grievance'. Genuinely believe if William Shakespere never wrote Romeo and Juliet the world will be a kinder place filled with more love than hate I'd go so far as to say that the text of Romeo and Juliet itself has an almost negligible impact on society other than the names being associated with romance in general. Not only do most people not study the play, the vast majority of those who study the play come away with a pretty limited understanding, and most students tend to feel the whole thing was pretty …

I'm not saying they're reasonable or not, I'm just saying the level up stuff is not in the main sub.

You're looking in the wrong place. FDS has separate subs for levelling up and a separate sub for direct advice. There is also the off-reddit site, and the private locked sub. Also, that's not what a pickme is, a pickme is the female version of a simp.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen19/04/21 10:53 AM

FDS has as much to do with actually dating as this sub does, it's mostly memes, social issues and vents.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen19/04/21 10:09 AM

FDS and TRP are the better match, actually. Both reject BP views of relationships, and view the other gender as largely being 'faulty' and that successful LTRs are so unlikely it's better to find other options. Both also place heavy emphasis on personal self development as the key. BP just sort of shambles about hoping for the best and trying to be optimistic.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen19/04/21 06:15 AM
28

This one reason why the sub has a large drift towards gender separatism/WGTOW - quite a few have realised that not only are there not enough of these type of HVM to go around, they are also unlikely to personally encounter/attract one because the sub has no real information about how to do so beyond levelling up. Alas, levelling up isn't the same as developing proper girl game.

Submissions must show a woman who is looking for commitment while also either complaining about jerks or promiscuity, needing her kids provided for, being entitled or unreasonable, or complaining that she "can't find a decent guy" How is this relevant to the sub? She was out for a bike ride and wanted to spend time by herself. There's no dating intention here, just a pretty boring ass mundane story about a guy who wasn't great at social distancing.

At this point, they aren’t still trying to get the vote, college representation, or even wage gap lies. This is (mostly) correct. Feminism has moved through different frontiers to confront different areas of inequity. This is often divided up into waves. The fourth (current) wave of feminism is more focused on areas such media representation, sexual violence/harassment (labelled as 'justice') and issues of women of colour. Intersectionality plays a larger part than previous waves.

Yeah I know this is a profoundly weird thing to do I'd say that too if I was going to post this, but honestly it is not that weird to do at all for the scientifically minded. That said, testing for looks matching when everyone is wearing masks is a futile exercise, would be better to do it pre-pandemic. There's a lot of teasing, but I wouldn't say that people there hate single mothers. It's definitely under-represented that men vet their potential partners for safety. "Don't stick your dick in crazy" isn't just relationship advice, there are plenty of ways casual hookups can go very badly wrong in terms of safety, and the more a man has to lose in the rest of his life, the more he will be subject to a much wider range of factors than whether or not she's attractive or not.

TRP's AF/BB model is mainly for describing the behaviour of women who have hurt them. This means it doesn't really account for women who find stable relationships earlier in their life. This is a theoretical blindspot, but for practical purposes of TRP it doesn't matter so much. This is because the men who enter stable, successful relationships earlier in life have no reason to be involved with TRP and will reject it when they see it. To distill it down to something usable, I would say that younger men and older men have different potential issues with them. There's not really anything magical about the age of 35 though. The most useful thing for you to do is develop a vetting process that takes into account the sort of problems that men at different life stages and ages might have. For example, younger men tend to be less emotionally well developed, more unbalanced, less financially stable and more unresolved childhood traum…

C. Know myself, my life's path and think critically about the information out there on how to create attraction and build relationships that enhance my life. Use PUA tactics which I believe are ethical and for the benefit of both myself and the person receiving them. The idea is to create positive experiences that are mutually enjoyable and lead to positive reinforcement of the dynamic. TRP is a deliberately simplistic approach to the male-female dynamic, so that it can explain to people who hav…

still somehow got respect from people. Some of this is just because groups of people need leaders. Everyone recognises this, it's innate in humans as social beings. There's great social value in being a capable leader, and it doesn't really matter what your leadership style is. How much this is relevant to the dating market is a little complicated though.

You're getting a lot of 'no' answers here, but if you go to spaces where women vent about men and failed relationships, you'll find plenty of examples of women who felt like they should be kind and give the nice guy a chance. Then it usually turns abusive, or he turns out to be a loser.

SMV and RMV are still driven by market forces. Awkward nerdy STEM women in low supply, nerdy STEM men are in high supply, the former naturally will have higher relative market value. Plus, female awkwardness can raise RMV in the eyes of men, so long as it's not full blown shut-in syndrome.

This is some nice insight. I will say that you don't have to expand your circle to be around more uninhibited people. If you do the self-work, and can get introduced, invited into, or just simply insert yourself into uninhibited groups that works fine too. That said, it's not really that simple. Most people who are inhibited have a lot of hang ups, be they moral, psychological, character or otherwise. Indeed, it takes a lot to move from being someone who is inhibited to being able to shake free …

That's a great thing to bring up. It's always been a thing, but now social media has also extended this inner world, mental vision out into the outer world where you can reflect on how the prospective partner might visually look in one's imagined life. It's true this seems quite shallow and narcissistic, which it certainly can be, but at the same time being able to visualise and create a future for oneself is having great power in one's life.

I feel like 'getting a date' is putting it into a blue pill framework. RP framework is more about making the approach, making contact, getting the close (phone number close, kiss close, fuck close etc). Being strongly physically attractive may smooth the process to varying degrees, but the whole point of TRP is focusing on your own game. You can't face swap, so there's no point being a beta bitch about it, and even if you could, it still is no replacement for doing the hard work to sort yourself…

But I think that people generally are harsh to any groups that they view as inferior to them whether it's a gendered or racial thing. That's very true, and there is some experimental evidence to suggest that even in the complete absence of any difference between two groups, the in-power group will subjugate the other group just because they have been designated as having the power.

We would have a totally different belief system I think the significance of this is hard to understate. Many things that seem normal, or that might be accepted as having a powerful biological imperative would simply not have the same framework. I very much enjoyed reading the link that the /u/flightlessbirbz posted about Goettner-Abendroth's work. A good example from that was this bit: Does prostitution exist in matriarchal societies? No! Most dating profile descriptions are really just a broad sketch of the sort of person that one is looking for, or that one is. Because of the limits of language one can never be specific enough, but also can never be broad enough. Reading that checklist of attributes you can get a sort of feel for the person she's looking for, but at the same time based on what she says, it's clear that checklisting each of them isn't what is ultimately intended.

I mean, I'm sure it would provide some analysable data about attitudes to love, but that doesn't mean the actual 'love attitude' is a thing that exists. Same way that MBTI tests can provide data about human personality, but that doesn't prove that MB Types actually exist, and if then go and analyse the data through the faulty MB Type framework, it's not going to provide meaningful answers.

I find out that stuff in person and then match their answers to what you can observe about their actions and life set-up, where it's much harder to fake. In fact, I don't really trust people to self-report anything at all apart from things they don't realise are negatives, which is what makes most of the posts in this sub so interesting.

When they're sarcastic towards people, it feels good for them, so it must be a good thing. It will be interesting to see if it continues to gain traction. There are a large number of liberal feminists who feel that the pendulum has swung a little too far into uncritical sex positivity territory that is too permissive of misogyny and abuse. Existing strategies to curtail violent crime result in the existing crime rate. What makes you think they are going to be able to stop it from rising in response to the shame-o-rama. Rising suicide rates are damaging for society - suicide impacts not only the person committing suicide but everyone else in their circles. If he's told to move on by the woman because she's chosen someone else, that's quite a different scenario to finding out indirectly she's sleeping with other suitors. It seems like it's about 25% profiles with a distinct, and slightly awful at times, lack of self-awareness and 75% rampant misogyny where they just imagine things that must be wrong with the person. Has the same sort of trainwreck fascination, although I'm not surprised you got banned from there, they don't tolerate much excursion outside of a fairly narrow range of comments. Funny to hear you got banned from FDS, they also have a fairly narrow tol…

There is some data available to compare to your hypothesis: https://subredditstats.com/r/TheRedPill https://subredditstats.com/r/MGTOW In terms of interpreting, subscriber count data is damaged by the quarantining of those subs, but you can still get a reasonable feel for sub activity through the comment graphs. Just eyeballing those graphs, I don't see any evidence of an uptick nor up trend in TRP around the start of the pandemic lockdowns. I also don't see any real evidence of a crossover from…

I wonder why a lot of redpillers believe that women who have advanced degrees (Master's or above) would be at a disadvantage when it comes to dating "no men care about a woman's career or degrees." The latter doesn't mean the former. Many RP men talk about spinning plates, i.e. having uncommitted casual sex with multiple women, who are individually referred to as 'plates'. If you are a plate with an advanced degree doesn't really matter one way or another, you're just another plate. That's what …

Most people in lower socio-economic regions don't have the resources to leave their locale. Certainly it is possible, and it does happen, but the reason that marginalised groups need support and women need facilities like DV shelters is because it is usually extremely difficult to escape one's immediate circumstances.

Two things: Firstly, The thing you've done in your post with this structure: A B B A just makes you come across as odd and that you don't grasp how to use reddit correctly. It doesn't emphasise your point, or improve people's understanding of your question, it does the very opposite. Second thing, /r/asktrp would be a good place to ask this.

That's pithy, but the more likely truth is that if everyone you know is a mess, then your immediate socio-cultural environment is unhealthy and toxic.

I ask mainly in case you have an ASD, which seems possible because of how significantly you misread the situation. I would say you are correct about her being very upset. This was your cue to change your interaction approach. When she is calling you mentally ill, this is often just the casual way (younger) people speak. It's an accusation and her saying "I do not think normal people behave like you have been behaving". She is just expressing her opinion and reaction to your behaviour, which isn'…

INTRA-RACIALLY Location is very important here, because demographic mix and culture will determine things a lot more than race per se. There aren't any universalities here. Do men truly want (like in a perfect world) a woman to cater to them and be monogamous to them, and just accept that he will have multiple partners? I personally would not want this, which I mention mainly as a datapoint. Like do you guys want everyone to be monogamous or no one to be monogamous or do you literally just want to have your cake and eat it to? I don't want everyone to do anything. Plurality is one of the great strengths of relatively free societies.

It's always good to have it affirmed that one's understanding is mostly on track. so I do hope that you will continue to communicate with men, as there is a certain kind who don’t give a good goddamn when it’s a woman talking. I defer to Toddv Dating on this. Its best just to pay for dates. I used to think it was more alpha to demand splitting the bill and beta to pay. But you get more success from just paying. Particularly if you are not in your early 20s any more. Just have a budget for it. the "all women are wonderful" thing I think this may contribute to some bad behaviour by LVM - as women are just human, their ordinary imperfect human-ness mismatches with subconscious images they may have about women as perfect. It's an interesting thing to muse about, but it does seem likely that it's unlikely something that people outside feminist spheres would engage with in good faith. You put that there as a gotcha, but feminists who believe that equality in educational access is important would have that as an issue of concern. However given all of the other giant mountains of shit from the patriarchy (the systemic patriarchy, not the imaginary men's club) that need to be fixed first, it doesn't really appear on to-do lists.

That's not a cop-out, given that radical feminism, especially separatist feminism has goals and methods that are essentially the opposite of liberal feminism. That's an interesting take. I guess the implied nuance is that the ruling class encourages the types and aspects of feminism that serve its interests. Specifically, I am asking how these aspects rank relative to "getting fe/male attention" Getting general female attention is pretty much at the bottom of my priority list, but if I set my sights on a specific woman, then being able to generate spark and attraction is of the same level of importance as being in a relationship with her. These aren't arguments in favour of the idea that feminism is hegemonic, they are arguments that western society is misandrist. It sounds like your wife was quite confident with navigating the romance space and her ability to vet men, hence landing you. It's not meant to capture all of them, it's designed to filter out LVM who may be hard to differentiate from HVM during the early phases. If she's into games - there's a wide…

What do you think the actual dating advice from FDS is? FDS's actual strategy is just a combination of self-improvement and partner selection screening for their own particular definition of HVM. That definition is largely behaviour and minimum standards based. Well, it's called FemaleLevelUpStrategy and was created by one of the mods of FDS. There's also AskFDS. Neither of those appear as official sister subs, but as far as I know they're both part of the 'FDS network'. There's also the official FDS website, and the podcast just got launched too.

Have you looked at FemaleLevelUpStrategy and AskFDS? That's where a lot of those posts are. The FDS main sub has a lot more geared towards explorations of the ideas and issues that underpin the FDS philosophy, and echochamber style reinforcement.

It's only mixed signals if you don't know how to interpret them. As an older guy, I read her description of girl game and cracked a big grin, because it was a clear invitation to join her in the fun of the flirt game. It's a dance, and a game, building the anticipation, testing each other out, working how to push buttons in a good way so that whatever transpires later is going to be even more fun and filled with chemistry. That might sound too uncertain, and perhaps not aggressive enough, but re…
