I always remember a Jeff Foxworthy skit, where he talks about his 62 year old Aunt contemplating getting a boob job. Her husband replied "You're 62 years old. You getting a boob job is like hanging 2 new chandeliers in a haunted house."

"No one loves gender roles more than women." Correct. The only times in my life I've been told to "Man up", "Suck it up", "Grow a pair", "Get a spine", etc, it's never been by a member of the "Toxic Masculinity" gender.

Bit silly and frivolous, but i always think of a line from the old tv show "Married with Children" because there's also a lot of truth in it that I've found as I've gotten older; "Don't try to understand women. Women understand women, and that's why they hate each other."

"Exactly," Phil says. "So boys - we're winning at homelessness. We're winning at prison. We're winning at suicide. And girls are smashing it at school. This isn't just one year. This is every single year. So there has to be a reason for that." I noticed Phil never asked for opinions on why that is, nor outlined the reasons. And yet some subs will ban you automatically if their bot detects you've made comments on here. Not if you've said anything offensive on the other sub, but simply been active on here. You're then told the only way to get unbanned, is to come here, delete all posts made here, and then go grovelling back to the other sub and message the mods that you understand the ban, have deleted all comments made here, and are "now ready to be unbanned." It's a joke.

No, to remind people of the double standards in this case, and the many others like it. That if a man did this, then it would be outrage. Women's rallies would be held, with speakers demanding that governments introduce even tougher laws and policing. Politicians would making promises to do so. "Experts" would be cropping up on tv talk shows like weeds and saying it's yet another example of "toxic masculinity" and men are fundamentally evil because of it. There would be ribbons sold in support. …

Many subs on Reddit take the same attitude. I was auto banned on a non related sub for no other reason then i had posted here. To be unbanned, I had to come here, delete all post's I'd made, and message the mods of the other sub that I understand the ban, had deleted my posts, and "was now ready to be unbanned."

Woman does it; "She loved her children so much, but was a troubled soul with mental health issues. We need to do more to raise awareness and support in the wake of this tragedy." Man does it; "He was an evil, selfish bastard who thought of no-one but himself, and took those Angels away from their mother for the sake of his own ego. I've heard of the expansion on what your mum learnt, that hits home even more as a man. "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. The courage to change the things I can. The wisdom to know the difference. And the good luck not to have it f*cked up too often.

Probably they are disgusted because it's a blow to their ego. Sure, they want men to "last",as you say. But they want to feel it's because he's just so overcome with their beauty, sexual attraction, etc that he can't help himself. That way they can stroke their own ego, feel they've got him wrapped around their little finger, and control him through his erection. Kind of takes the gloss off when they realise they're really not all that and a bag of chips after all.

I think so. It's just sometimes what we like is different compared to women, and sometimes more practical. For example, while a man may make and tidy a bed,not many would worry about loading it up with decorative pillows to the point you have to break it down every night just to sleep in it. Or we may find the old picture of the dogs playing poker genuinely amusing,or want to display a framed sports jersey or other pieces of memorabilia from a favourite movie, game or hobby. But if it doesn't suit…

Because, unfortunately, men have always been viewed as expendable by society at large, and these days it's worse. For example, the majority of homeless people are male, but there are very few resources to help them. In health, there has been a lot of resources put towards women's health, with great strides made in positive outcomes. But not so much for men. As a man,you have to be constantly aware of how your actions can be perceived in any situation. For example,I was out with a female friend and he…

Unfortunately men's feelings are never taken into account, because they're just seen to be,or meant to be, the emotional support for women only. A great example off the top of my head, is that I went along with a friend to his mother's funeral as support as he was understandably very upset. After the funeral a female relative (Aunt?) came to have a "quiet word" with him to tell him that now the funeral was done,he needed to take a deep breath and "buck up" in order to be there to support his sis…

If he attacked her back, then she would have called the Police on him, and they would have automatically taken her side, and his life would have been ruined, and possibly put him further under her control. As for leaving, while there are plenty of support, help, shelters and community based service for women, there is not many unisex or men only services. There is still the perception out there that men can't be abused in a relationship.
