2	If this was a girl being assaulted at school, the outcome would have been very, very different. Kids are horrible. I like to think this is changing though, or at least hope so. When I switched schools some guys tried to bully me but I knew how to defend myself so physical bullying was never the problem. Psychological bullying was harder to deal with though. However since I could fight bullies usually just left me alone and went for easier targets. Zero tolerance is a broken policy and I count my blessings for being able to defend myself when it was needed. 1	EDF Energy has been criticised after a 13-year-old-boy won a competition that was part of a campaign to attract teenage girls to the fields of science, technology, engineering and maths. - Yes, lets ignore the fact he had the best idea, lets get angry because a 13 year old boy did something good! Before I say anything, the boy won fair and square and he should be proud and I hope nobody tries to take that away from him. Pretty stupid that they didn't change the image of the competition if they were going to allow both genders. I think EDF Energy fucked up honestly and it's very understandable for people to react to it (Although many will overreact, as with everything nowadays). You don't have to take revenge, you can be the bigger person and back off, regardless of the gender of who hit you. Sure a woman should expect to be hit back, but you shouldn't decide beforehand to hit everybody back. For the record I have hit a girl. 1	15 year old boy charged with raping 47 year old woman. He reportedly "coerced" her. Heck when I was 15-16 there was a guy (or two) in my class that could bench around 200lbs. There was a rumor about him being steroids, which was very possible. I know for a fact that he used them later on at least. Obviously that's not the norm but athletic kids that age can be pretty strong to say the least. However I agree with you that more information is needed before "crucifying" anyone.
