exactly, and the fact that the word 'sorry' was used at all

Seriously. When I read this line, I died inside: me- "Sorry, I don't think I did anything wrong there..." The idea that the word 'sorry' was used here, in any context, is nauseating.

Yeah I'm with you. This just isn't true. There are many women I know who are VERY loyal, caring, helpful, etc. And all the time. This doesn't work as a blanket statement like a lot of other things do here. I have had girls help me move. I have had girls tolerate my grief. It's easy to lump everything you don't like about the way women treat you as AWALT. When in actuality, you very well could just suck or hang around sucky women.

I have... I thought the opposite. I thought after a couple washes it got pretty worn out and shitty looking. Maybe it wasn't stretch...

Is there a source that lays this stuff out somewhere? That you're aware of? I find it really interesting. Thanks in advance.

Then there's the phony narcissist. One of my oldest friends is one of these. Always laughing the loudest (fake laugh usually, mired in insecurity). Always has some new philosophy about life and the people in his. Constantly harping on the made-up fantasy rock he lives under. Day after day, sending me pictures of the newest, hottest girl he's with, even though it's hardly ever real. I pretend to believe his nonsense even though I'm pretty sure even he knows everyone thinks he's a complete joke. 3…

I'm ten years younger than him and better looking than any of his friends wives/girlfriends. According to who? Him? You? I have news for you: You're probably not. are you now married and both happy? We're engaged and very happy. I really hope my daughters never date anybody with these beliefs. They're not beliefs. These are suggestions for dealing with absolute qualities of the inherent nature of women. You're sadly mistaken if you think you haven't behaved along some of these lines in the past.…

It's not wrong at all, it's spot-on. And there's not much hilarious about it. Your bummer. Source: my entire life, many relationships of all sorts

I understand what you're saying. Do I have the ability to turn it off, appreciate the animation and the characters, and enjoy the movie at face value? Yes, of course. Did I do that many times over the duration? YES. But that doesn't negate the problem. It's a very real problem. It's crazy. You know that and I know that. I'm just bringing yet another example to the table. I could make the argument that, by your logic, you shouldn't even be concerned with my post... shouldn't even be reading or co…

So there's a 'vent' flair on here for no reason? I'm hardly angry about it. I walked out of the thing laughing about how overt it all was. I am angry that we spent about $80 on the evening for that. I am angry that if a movie was made in the opposite light it'd be shunned and practically banned in this country. The fact that these harmful ideals are nourished and esteemed does make me mad. And I think that's ok.

That makes a lot of sense. I just want to make sure I have this right. So as long as I understand the fundamentals of the concepts that make this sub run, there's no need to be concerned with where it all stems from and how it's being propagated.

I saw the movie, I think you're exaggerating because you're paranoid. I don't think I'm paranoid. I can imagine the movie with all of the genders of the characters flipped, and it would have practically been the same aside from the mafia characters (a female mafia would be strange). And really if you can do that with a movie, can you really say it has some kind of gender agenda? I have no idea what you are trying to argue here, but yes Also how can the sheep mayor be a protagonist? She is litera…

That's a low-ball. 4 people on a Friday night: 60 bucks. Want popcorn? Maybe a soda? Looking at $100 night. Bear in mind this was NJ. Probably more expensive than down south or the midwest.

I can tell you that his assessment is pretty accurate based on 'actual people in my actual life'. My fiancee makes just as much money as I do. It's understandable that she'd want me to contribute to cooking/cleaning. She works 45 hours/week just like I do. I can tell you that life is much less stressful this way. I'll gladly throw some plates in the dishwasher in exchange for not having to be the sole provider for two human beings instead of one, or 4 human beings instead of 2. Be careful not to…

Cliffhanger, Crocodile Dundee, Predator, every single James Bond movie. All extremely good films.

Awesome man. I read non-stop. Initially mainly manosphere and TRP literature, then non-fiction. Now I do allow myself the indulgence of fiction - mainly military history - which is a great way to chill. A suggestion - if you want some incredible fiction, read Hemingway. His prose is, in my opinion, the best of all time. He's the original TRP dude. The Sun Also Rises, Islands in the Stream, To Have and Have Not, and The Old Man and the Sea are elite pieces of literature. Alcohol, Women, Adventure…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
