I agree with the threat from single mothers but China can't just call in their US debt because it doesn't work that way. Also, interest rates are rising in response to the currently above potential economy that were in as our unemployment rates are below the recomended value. You aren't always left with nothing. You're gambling your time on a wager that you'll gain enjoyment or entertainment value. If you happened to watch a movie or play a video game and didn't enjoy it, you just lost that particular wager but there are so many more wagers to potentially win (gain enjoyment from). To me, watching porn has a good track record of being a worthwile gamble on my time but its possible it is not enjoyable in the same way to someone else and that is perfectly acceptable.
