1	Approaching barmaids/staff The approach that has worked for me is to become a regular. For the most part, these girls have heard just about every line in the book. So, I usually become a good customer first and show that I'm not just another drunk hitting on her. Go on slow nights when there aren't many customers around. It's a lot easier to get the conversation going when she is not busy. Once you establish rapport just go ahead and ask her out. Then you can just proceed as you normally would.
