Sounds like you have an excessive and irrational hate for drugs and people who do drugs.

Studies have shown Obesity, which is rampant in America, correlates to a reduced IQ. 1 2 If there is a causal relationship in the direction of Obesity --> low IQ then this could be a non-negligible environmental factor determining IQ in first world countries (especially America). Also malnutrition is rampant in America because most everyone eats shit foods that don't contain enough micronutrients. According to Google there are "200K to 3M" diagnosed cases per year in the US. That's common enough…

It's really surprising how quickly you can turn things around. Take it in small baby steps and eventually you'll have control over your life. Go to the gym, lift, and eat a deficit. Contrary to popular belief, you don't need motivation to work out. All you need is discipline. You just need to get up and do it because that's what you do. Even if you don't care about getting fit or working out, just do it. Do it for the sake of doing it. If life is already a monotonous, hellish trudge, then workin…

Maybe you haven't noticed a drastic change from working out, but over the course of 3 months she must've noticed something, especially if you were on a cut. I wouldn't say that's the only factor. Hell I don't know what's going on in your case but that's definitely one of the factors.

Hey, that all may be true, but the fact is, society thrives in traditionalism. Guidos ruin society. They are masculine, yes, but I don't think that makes them, as you originally said, "a good thing." All I've been trying to say is that masculinity does not make them "a good thing," however vague that statement may be. This is essentially what I've been saying. Yet for some reason you decided to bring in your reverence for guidos and droned on about how they have better lives - Which is true, but…

you were raised to be fearful and hate masculinity and to view it as a savage destructive force. Are you telling me how I was raised? I was raised in a traditional indian family which values gender roles/masculinity and discipline. I'd call my dad a patriarch. I have seen the positive effects of a masculine role model first hand. The thing about guidos is that they're not masculine. Some are pussy-whipped and think that their hot girlfriend (who controls them) makes them the shit. They don't wor…

The first thing you should look for is evidence that it can boost testosterone. If there is none, you can safely assume it can't.

Except they do... Have you read about the other supplements? They still have some effects. A preworkout, for example, will help you pump out more reps by combining all the supplements with a mild stimulant effect. More reps = more gainz The only way you could really feel lied to and cheated is if you expected them, in the first place, to make you incredibly strong and look jacked, rather than provide a marginal benefit - In which case you are honestly pretty gullible since advertisers always ove…

Personally I don't think there are any mindhacks except other drugs. Practice makes perfect. You just have to keep practice until you're comfortable going through the motions sober.

If you are productive the whole day you will need more than 5 of hours of sleep. You may be able to function on less but it certainly isn't healthy. If you've actually tried that before, you'd understand. Unless you need to work that long to support yourself or have some lofty goal you want to attain, there's no reason to put yourself through that.

I don't quite know how you could think that because the whole point of discipline is not wavering even when you are suffering and every cell in your body wants you to stop doing something. But regardless it's still suffering for most people which is why it's considered a good quote.

I can't think of any examples where you wouldn't have to. Lifting weights - literally sculpts you, causes literal pain (DOMS) and requires discipline Running - unless you love running, doing cardio requires intense discipline Getting money - requires intense discipline Anything that confers some kind of long term benefit is always gonna involve pain, be it literal or metaphorical.

Ah yes, let me just recount the times I've derailed while riding the Amtrak. Oh wait, I never have. If derailings were so common, don't you think more people would be on edge while riding the train? Edit: from Wikipedia - "In the United States, only three cases of train derailings have been reported in 2013.[1][2]"

You're starting to understand it far quicker than most people do. You're on the right path - Don't fuck up now by not putting that understanding into play (by stepping out of your comfort zone and taking more control over your thoughts).

The ways are already laid out. First and foremost, hit the gym. Do a starting program like stronglifts 5x5 and read the r/fitness sidebar to learn about proper nutrition.

If you want to get laid, then you can't be a little bitch. You're anxious, introverted, and artistic? Go ahead and be artistic - But you have to face your fears, talk to people more, hit the gym, and practice being a douchebag. People will laugh at you? So fucking what. Eventually you'll get the hang of it and learn what gets tingles and what doesn't. Practice makes perfect. If this all seems unreasonable to you, then go ahead and do whatever you want - you probably won't get laid though. A ton …

You're absolutely correct. High volume training will make your legs huge but not nearly as strong as those of someone who trains for power - who won't have (as) big legs.

Why are you asking for advice on TRP if you already know what to do? Cut her out of your life. Break up with her. So what if she threatens to kill herself? Those are her issues which she needs to sort out herself. She clearly has some disorder; no amount of dread game will fix that. Also, you got chubby and started smoking weed all day? Unless you don't care about being attractive and regularly having sex, you need to stop. You have to taper off your smoking and hit the gym. Good luck.

He wasn't being homophobic. Gay is a general overall insult as well as a term to describe homosexuals. Yes, the former stemmed from the latter, but now those two meanings are usually independent of each other.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that most middle Eastern men who go around killing and raping people in the name of sport or religion have not actually ever seen a white woman before.

Does there really need to be a post on "fishing for flattery"? Isn't it common knowledge that women fish for compliments and that you should ignore it? Not to knock on your post but I never thought of it as a shit test. Even when I was a beta if I saw a woman fishing for compliments I'd just think "lol what a vapid bitch." I think I'm just interpreting this post incorrectly.

Dictionary.com connotation: The associated or secondary meaning of a word or expression in addition to its explicit or primary meaning: A possible connotation of “home” is “a place of warmth, comfort, and affection.” Not only does the dictionary support my point ("Can I get" connotes to "May I have"), but earlier you were arguing that semantics is bullshit. Now you want me to look up the meaning of a word? Lol, I thought you were a man. But clearly you don't know when to give up and resort to in…

Not only is that incorrect but it demonstrates that you didn't even read my post. Framing it as a question makes it polite, not rude. I'm not going to demand shit from my waiter because I have manners. And if some delusional waiter doesn't understand that "Can I get a" means "May I have a" I don't give a shit. They are going out of their way to get offended at an implication that never even existed. They are in the wrong, not me, and I should not have to concede to them by changing my phrasing.

The connotation of "can I get a?" is "may I have a?". That's what I've been trying to say.

That's not universally applicable in every context. If the average person were to act "royal" in most contexts they'd be treated like an asshole, not a king.

...They would have to think about the semantics to interpret it any other way than "May I have X." If a waiter does not understand that people mean "May I have" when they say "Can I get" and that it's an extremely common phrase then they have nobody to blame but themselves for getting angry. It would be like getting angry over the phrase "Elephant in the Room" because there isn't an actual elephant in the room. Everybody understands the implicit meaning of those words right away. I honestly don'…

Maybe they're just really, really into biotech and not into anything else? If someone doesn't mind working to get a PhD and fronting the bill, I don't see anything wrong with that. They can be smart but also incredibly passionate.

OP, it's hard to hear it but this guy has the best advice. You don't even have to exercise at all if you don't want to. Just eat less. It's simple physics; the key to losing weight is to eat less. Count your calories so you don't overeat. Rather than running I would recommend lifting weights while you're doing this. It will raise your daily metabolism slightly and depending on how weak you already are, you could gain a fair bit of muscle. At the very least you'll retain muscle which you would ha…

Right, but could you not pick up the tone of his comment? It was very high and mighty. And in regards to sexual strategy, having a superiority complex can hinder game and LTRs. Excessive confidence is good, but women smell a superiority complex from a mile away and find it repulsive. So it may not have added to the conversation, but it's certainly relevant to the sub and helps him.
