There not crazy common. Only like 2-5% are blatantly false, of those reported to authorities. Still 4000+ people's lives a year are fucked up over them. That's with the majority of real rapes, going unreported. I do believe in harsher penalties for those who falsely accuse however. Sadly, many, many, more accuse publicly, destroy lives and relationships and never actually report it to the authorities of any kind and there is no to little repercussions. The system does need to be better for all. …

You will never end abortion via adoption. Up to 5% adoption fails. Many in the system are abused. The social service system is underfunded, understaffed, and unable, currently, to deal with what we have. You want to add to it and not add support. You are looking for a disaster. Until we help the people we have and minimize the need for the option for many people the numbers won't go down. In fact they will only go up the more people try to restrict it. Abortion rates on the country fell asleep o…

100% agree that bringing bio father's to the table should be the focus. Also agree mentors are not a bad thing. Especially if we could get mentors for fathers too. It shouldn't matter if the kids are in single parent homes or not. Some kids have two parents who are just never around. While there is a increase in crime we are still in a historic low and way off of where we were in the 80-90s. It's also not an cause of single mothers directly. As far as boys and school, again not a mother's only i…

Sadly, yes. Mainly due to lack of access to healthcare before and after a pregnancy. No prenatal care. Overall sad. We don't take care of what we have and then complain when we don't have a utopia

There are over 150,000 kids in this country waiting to be adopted. There are plenty to go around. Clinics don't just do abortions, many provide access to birth control and health care. All of which are being shut down too. The social services are grossly underfunded as is education. People claim to want to stop abortions to protect kids but don't want to do shit with them when they are here. Or help prevent the pregnancies, to begin with. Forcing people to have children would marginalize people …

Can't keep them connected to their bio-fathers. We need them to prove we are tough on crime or recruit them into the State Militia. s/ here is another side of this too. By limiting things like birth control and abortion they are putting more men on the hook for children that many did not want and the State will not pay for. While I agree mentor programs are great, support and education for fathers are fantastic. As you point out giving them 50/50 would be better. However, this is really not abou…

They didn't even do it for those reasons. They cite breaking health protocols. Basically used a technicality to get rid of her without having to take a stand, be decent, or admit their own mishandlings. It's weak but happy to see her go.

Absolutely. I would guess the journalist wouldn't even return the call for a father. Sadly, there are probably 100's or more cases with even more cause that continue to be ignored. I recently had a student try to argue that because pregnancy and labor are not easy on women that they should be given more allowances in cases like this. Of course this was a student who also did not believe female privilege existed. They were unhappy when I pointed out that the generations of guilt mothers have pass…

I agree. I'm grateful she served and protected my ass. I'm sorry she has PTSD and struggling. We definitely don't do enough in this country to help our returning soldiers. That being said, why no phone calls, no (even five minute) visits, anything. I don't know Colorado law but I can't imagine it is easy to strip a mother's rites for a step-parent. I survived plenty and know PTSD, first hand and academically. I also know my kids saved me. The whole story sucks but happens so many times to men an…

I know this might be a lot to ask and while I don't agree with everything he said, please READ the damn interview before jumping to conclusions. His comments were from multiple questions and then mashed together to make a title. He is calling for people to listen to each other and learn how to change the system for the better for ALL involved. Is he a little tp apologetic for having a penis, IMO, yes, but that doesn't mean he is saying we should bow to females.

If it has to be taught then wouldn't that imply that the natural default was to rape? Making rape a natural necessity. If this was the case, rape numbers would be through the roof and/or just a accepted norm. Rapists would also only be male. Although I did have someone recently state she thought female rapists were identifying as male on some level. So some, even see female rapists , when they acknowledge them, as a male issue. Why can't people see this crap does no one any good and doesn't help…

I'm going to make an assumption here: many pick up the fight after a injustice (perceived/real) by them or someone close. Let's not pretend they don't exist. It's just not as tragic as many try to make it. Once in, they get swept up. Many people in this world, no matter the cause, fail to take the time to think about the other side. It also becomes easier to ignore their perspective the more you are surrounded by 'confirmation' of your beliefs and high emotion. It is why I think more people sayi…

Ah so I see. Please. If you are who you say you are you are clearly the one who thinks all should bow to you because you have the fancy coat. Please you call me insecure. Look I am not really sure what all your anger and issues are, nor do I care. People are trying to have a conversation and you are attacking a group of people who all support the same cause. My argument has just as much as evidence as yours does. Why should I do your research for you? If you follow the field, well anything beyond 1962 then maybe you have been able to follow along. While I am not a European, let me be the first to inform you that I could be and still be a native English speaker. Perhaps you may want to check your reference books on how English came to America. Oh, thank you for the lovely genetics run down. I'm sure someone, somewhere has that gold star you are craving. I was did it one handed, while doing something else and did not read it before I hit save. Sorry about that. How do you define female and male? is what it should say. Ah, so the root of your issue is that you don't see him as a him. Because clearly there is only one way to be a man. He never claimed to be the voice for all. He was just stating his story. He is asking for people to check their biases and re-evaluate their beliefs regarding gender issues in our favor yet you are hung up with your belief he is not a he. Personally, if the messages he is stating was spoken by a women I would still support it. As it is one trying to work towards a better understan…

What is compelling is an individual preference. For you it is not compelling, for me it is. That simple. The "conversation" is the on-going greater debate regarding gender and equality in the world as well as, the discussions that are born out of it. This is also not a women sitting on her porch pondering life as a man. It is a man, living life as a man, who has a unique perspective to offer. and I don't see the point in dismissing someone who is trying to have an honest conversation regarding gender issues no matter what their gender is. Well this is the first time I have seen his strory. Yes, there have been other's like the woman who lived as a man to prove it was easier and realized it wasn't. While I wish people on both sides of any argument would take more time to understand the experiences and perseptions of other's, I for one, do find it compelling when people do have their eyes open. Especially if they don't run away but stand up and use whatever platform they have to correct their mistakes. FYI it's not some women talki…

Yup, not alone, with my daughter but apparently I made them feel unsafe. They stopped crossing the soccer field and called the cops. The first time I didn't even see them until the cops walked up because my back was to them. I had the cops called once because I was changing my daughter's diaper on the backseat of the car. The woman blocked my car, called the cops and wanted me to hand over my daughter to her. The cop was great, she laughed at the woman, apologized to me and wrote her a ticket fo…

True but I thought woman don't do those things only men abuse. Also makes you wonder why the courts have not adjusted their default if it really is about keeping children safe. Not that a default either way should be used but a individual approach appears to be blasphemous. After all, why would it really be about the children.

Yeah, its a powerful number. Unfortunately, I have found that if we don't state the stats exactly how they are listed then people discount everything we say. I don't know how big a difference there is between the amount of kids killed by both parents or strangers vs those killed by one parent is but I have learned to try not to give them anything to discount the information.

It is a tricky stat. It's 71% of kids killed by one parent are killed by moms, not all kids killed by pa FYI, 60% are boys.... http://www.breakingthescience.org/SimplifiedDataFromDHHS.php Sorry on a cell

100% agree. I just feel that if the genders were reversed and Brittany was asking him for more after he landed a $15m a year gig people would be cheering her on, complete with'you go girl'. Neither scenarios deserve it but the hypocrisy is palletable.

It's also interesting that if it was a woman it would be about the kids and their needs, complete with a list of known expenses etc. This makes it sound like it is for him. Absolutely agree he probably doesn't deserve it, neither would a female. There are familes who get by with less money a year then some people get a month.

Honestly, don't know the details or really care. I don't think anyone needs $10000+ a month to raise two children (nor a 20K increase). I also don't know why he claims to need it. I do find the comments are interesting. How angry people get when they feel the female is being taken advantage of by being treated the same way many men have been for years. Can you imagine the pitchfork brigade that would assemble if a women was told to "get a job" instead of requesting more child support.

What is truly telling is the difference in how the two cases were reported. In this one they make it clear that it was sexual contact but by all appearances it was 2 consenting (if in different setting) adults. However, in the male's case not so much---read here . Now in his case it reports the victim seems to be under 18 but I believe 17 is the legal consent age in NYand his 2 charges are misdemeanors.... That does not excuse what he did, as it is still illegal. However, and maybe I'm just bein…

what i don't understand is that the site appears to be a crowdfunding site; if you don't like something don't fund it. Not sure of the law in Ohio but here in Massachusetts if you are required to register it does not matter your age at the time of the offense. Making the difference to have to register and not huge. I did not intend to imply that they are being harshly punished and they all should go home for milk and cookies and a 30 minute time out. I think it is more of a why do female victims get support and male victims often go unacknowledged. There is also the whole well males can't be raped thing. top comment on his youtube manifesto echoing the article "This is what the men's rights movement and red pill rhetoric does to somebody.
