Exactly!! My younger siblings are way younger than me (think elementary grades to preschool) and sometimes when I'm play-fighting with them I playfully bite them – they've never cried, because, guess what, it's easy as hell to "control your strength" even when you've just been kicked in the face by a six-year-old. Shit ain't hard, man's just violent and she needs to leave NOW

"So sweet and refreshing" I have a headache why is "I want to harass you, but I'm not going to do it" getting described the same way as lemonade

"Bimbo" is a derogatory term. It doesn't just mean feminine, feminine means feminine. A bimbo is just all the awful female stereotypes put together: stupid, vapid, sex obsessed, only cares about her looks, etc. Look it up.

Just yesterday I was reading the Wikipedia article on sexual trafficking, and under "misconceptions" it was like... "Many people confuse sex trafficking with prostitution. There are two feminist POVs on the issue. The abolitionist POV wants to make all the prostitutes into criminals and hates male sexuality and doesn't know that males can also be prostitutes (yeah right)(keeping in mind the abolitionist POV views prostitutes as victims of coercion, violence, etc). The other POV is right and bett…

For real. Like people idealise doctor husbands cause they're rich, that's it, there isn't any other aspect in the job itself that's particularly more appealing otherwise (speaking as an aspiring doctor). Girl literally what's the use if you're gonna be his sugar mommy?

100%%%. I'm Muslim but not Pakistani (Arab), and the guys here are the same. They all hold this dream of travelling to the US or Europe or Russia or wherever, and having all the hookups they could ever want, then come back home and have their parents find them a beautiful, young, obedient and most importantly virgin woman from their own country. They preach about what's haram and what's halal, then spend their free time watching pornography. Super dishonorable and unreligious, but they want a pe…

I agree that her response was unnecessary, but you high-key sound like you're trying to defend him ("he didn't say anything about hooking up with you") even though his intentions are clear (calling her a hottie immediately instead of trying to properly catch up, and the way he reacted to her message). This guy is not to be defended, he's clearly a creep. However her message to him, detailing how she wants an actual relationship and not just a hookup, is unnecessary, while it probably would have …

I also remember a time when I was twelve, at the mall with my dad. Some geezer turned his head so sharply to stare at me, and his neck was so strangely twisted it was just not normal. Thankfully I didn't care too much for it at the time because my mother had talked to me about creeps and pedos, but I still remember wondering for a second if it was because my abaya was bright pink :/

Oh haha, DarbyGirl's ex probably made plain rice with raisins since she reacted negatively to it, which doesn't sound too good tbh. Kabsa is an arabian dish that can have raisins in the rice, it's really good imo

Ugh. Just the other day a "family scandal" of sorts happened because my 16 year old cousin was following porn accounts on Facebook from his mother's phone. After getting caught he got desperate and started using our grandmother's account (hence the scandal), so he's pretty obviously addicted. Worst part is that he dragged a younger cousin of ours with him, the boy is literally twelve. But at least the younger cousin's parents found out and forced him to quit meeting the PA cousin, it's just real…

Okay but the way the girlfriend snitched when the girl warned her is the reason I'm not telling my uncle's wife that he cheats and that he comes from a family of violent abusers. It's incredibly irresponsible to just go "yeah your daughter told me", like what if he beat her up or something? But you really can't entrust your safety to a Pickmeisha (who thinks she's) in love.

If you like this sort of thing there's a manhua called Hell Hath No Fury/Revenge Is Ours, about three women who become close friends after trying to take revenge on a man who dated them all at once. It has some annoying parts (mainly the other male characters, lol) but their friendship is nice and it's complete, and not too long for a drama manhua.

Block and delete, don't bother trying to "fix" him. If he had apologised and said he'll work on it, would you have kept talking to him? You shouldn't, because he'll 100% be just saying it to manipulate. The second a guy seems misogynistic or pornsick just block, block, block. He really isn't worth a conversation where you try to show him his wrong or teach him.

Like if she has no respect left for herself, no love for herself left, does she not care about her child? Does she think he's happy cleaning up after his mother's proposal was rejected? Does she think he believes the "happy as Larry" (wtf does that mean anyway) lie? I.. what the heck lol.

Um, that's not actually true. Fight Club for example wrote women SO well. You just don't watch the right films. Also, giggles old geezers are the absolute hottest. /s. I also haven't watched fight club, so idk if there's a woman there or not, but I'm like 90 percent sure there's at least a sex scene (even if with an extra, because horny bastards)

It's "feminine". You know, things for women only, like romance novels, home decor, matching (and ironed) clothes, and any and all kinds of soap, perfume, or shampoo that's not 28-in-one

It really is. FDS was the first resource I found that had advice and explanations that resonated with my experiences, and the handbook and the books in the recommended reading changed my life, I'm not exaggerating. I genuinely wonder sometimes if I would've been alive and sane right now if I hadn't seen the truth of "no, abusers don't change" put so clearly and articulately in a way I could show and explain to others.

This this this this this. What you're saying here is the reason I had such an awful love-hate relationship with my mom, who always tried to make up for my dad's abuse by being very supportive and loving but never tried to leave. It was only when I confronted her with the truth that he'll never get better (I literally sent her a pdf of Why Does He Do That lol), and when she acknowledged it and started trying to leave, that our relationship got better. What the hell... this is so scary. You did well by recording, you might have even saved her and/or her child's life. What a creepy f*cker. Men who yell and get enraged at the smallest things should literally get imprisoned or even better just dissappear (don't want to use harsher words just in case lol), they're a threat to society.

Don't bother trying to figure out the whys and the points, half the time they don't even have a proper reason. You could look like a girl from twenty years ago whose sister he failed to date, and that's why he's acting like that, or something equally obscure and illogical. Don't waste your time trying to figure them out, even if you do you'll gain nothing from figuring out his reasons.

Okay but you speak the TRUTH about figure drawing references like male models have a huge range of poses, fight poses, standing poses, sitting poses, walking poses, and of course they're almost always dressed, but the women are almost always in "sensual"" poses with their backs arched, or poses that make their butt pop, and they're nude a lot more than the men. It's so uncomfortable.

Okay but high waisted cotton underwear (especially dark colors like black, in case miss red decides to visit earlier in the month than expected) is literally the backbone of society, it's just so incredibly comfortable and I don't understand how anyone can possibly justify wearing something uncomfortable like a thong instead for a man of all things :/

Yep, I agree with this one. Not me, but my mother. She was an incredibly naive and very psychologicaly abused woman at 28, who pretty much believed she was less than worthless. Her abusive mother practically handed her over to her abusive husband (my dad :/), she convinced her to meet him again, call him, get married to him right after he came back from his travel (their engagement was long-distance!) migrate with him to a country she had no one in, yelled at her when she asked to help her separ…

I can't disagree with you that makeup, especially stage makeup for everyday looks, pretty much has no benefits when compared to the cost it ends up having both on the wallet and on the self-esteem long term. But the thing is, I like to wear it. Not heavy makeup, I don't really know how to apply that, but eyeliner+mascara and maybe lip gloss if I feel like I want to look extra nice for any reason. It's never a "blind violent rage". My dad used to have them sometimes, except he'll always leave after and come back after a few hours just fine while the rest of us are still barely recovering. To be fair I've always suspected it but it wasn't until during one of them where I was crying and begging him to leave until I glanced at his face and he didn't even look mad, he looked bored. I hate that I can relate. A memory that's stuck in my brain so vividly was one when I was... Fourteenish? Probably younger. I agree, and honestly domestic abuse and rape are not even really that comparable considering the different stigmas associated with them. I didn't notice it, but now that you pointed it out his focus on "was it her fault" could and very probably would be absolutely triggering to survivors. And I agree that we should expect more than the bare minimum especially from people in roles such as teaching, and that the way he went about it wasn't good enough.

I think it's like another person said, out of disagreement. Personally though I thankfully hadn't ever experienced rape, an english class in which domestic abuse was discussed, I think in seventh grade, really hit close to home and even though it wasn't the most pleasant to stay in at the time it at least gave me reassurance that things were really not okay and it wasn't just in my mind or that it happens to everyone like my grandma said. Exactly! It's not a problem to play games, I do too (well interactive novels but that's the same thing basically), it becomes a problem when it's the only thing you do in your free time–or even worse, when it starts taking over your not-free time too like family events and work. A good measure I use is, if for example all games somehow disappeared from the world, would your lifestyle significantly change? This article was soooo long but what I got from it is that guys would rather get multiple plastic surgeries and attempt su*cide than get therapy to work on their body dysphoria and sexism

THIS. Just, this. It speaks to me honestly, you've expressed how I feel more eloquently than I could. Thank you.

The thing is it's like you've said–so many of those men are enabled by their family and friends. I've witnessed my dad convincing an uncle of mine a girl liked him because she didn't move when he passed her. I've had a guy's sister assume I like him simply because I told him where she was when he was looking for her. They wouldn't have the confidence to do this if they didn't have a support system.

I agree, honestly their depravity knows no limits. They'd legit jack off to a woman simply doing her job or running or something and justify it as her being attracted to them too, even if she doesn't even know they exist. It's so gross.

They're all like "He needs help". Well is she supposed to provide it? Is she supposed to spend time and effort over someone who does not even care about her? Is she supposed to act like a therapist to a guy when she's 1) not qualified, 2) not getting paid and 3) doing it for a guy who said he does not feel empathy towards her at all? Wow.

Girl. One of my family relatives (who are all primarily NV men and women anyway, but yk) went to a public parade some years ago, the king and queen were doing the parade thing where they wave and smile at the people around, right? So they're waving and smiling, and hear this: this guy–this overweight 5'7 excuse for a man with a receding hairline and eyebrows that manage to somehow be both caterpillar brows but also too thin–he thinks the queen, the actual literal queen of the country, the mother…

[TW: Violence] My mom had two kids with my dad after he beat her half to death in front of my sisters and I (aged 8, 5, and 3). I know she was being manipulated and abused by more than one person at the time but I honestly can't make myself not blame her.

(I've calmed down a bit haha) yeah I think it's what you're saying. Honestly I immediately imagined one of my little sisters in the daughter's place when I first read which is why I was so mad. They really need to work on getting her out of this "relationship" asap!

The mom wants to be supportive??!? She WANTS TO BE FUCKING SUPPORTIVE??!?!?! Is the dad the only stable one in the relationship?!?!? What the actual fuck I'm enraged?!?!?!?!?

Right?! Like if you're gonna waste your time on a man who tells you to your face he only wants s*x, at least do it for expensive jewelry and watches (you know like a proper drama show mistress, that's the only kind I have experience with thankfully) instead of a cheapass bonnet?!? Like no seriously what's up with that?? Is it like a fetish thing or what- Edit: oh wait oop in retrospect it looks more like a hat, but I have no idea where she'd wear it (and adding the socks in the end of the clip,,…

Ughhh, or guys who call themselves ENTPs. Like as an ENTP myself please don't use a personality archetype that you picked cause you felt was cool as an excuse to act like a psychopath. No it's not you being a "debater" and questioning society's rules, what's really going on is that you're being argumentative and everyone in the room wishes you'd shut up. Also is it just me or do they seem to really like making people mad and pretending not to know why?? And in my experience they are some of the …

I'm telling you their double standard is literally insane. So my dad and uncles are literally the actual definition of negative value, abusers in the textbook definition of the word. In every single family gathering they'd start commenting on the appearances of anyone with a vaguely feminine appearance in their vicinity (while their wives and children are around!) and saying all sorts of shit "jOkes" like "Hey [wife] can you go stand away from me so they don't figure out that we know each other"…

I've noticed this even in fiction! Some people were discussing a comic where the main character is an empress whose husband (the emperor) cheats on her with an ex-slave, then proceeds to be rude and disrespectful to her several times (for example asking her to do favors for his mistress, and upon her refusing proceeding to call her "heartless"). And I legit saw someone criticising the empress's character because "relationship problems are never one-sided, she never communicates what she feels to…

This is what I've been thinking! It implies that women have to be beautiful to be respected (which men mean when they say it. They're like "ur gonna be soo ugly and no one's gonna want you or respect you!", to them women only deserve respect if men find them fuckable) but that's obviously incorrect. A woman (any person obviously regardless of gender, but yk) deserves basic human respect simply for being. Trying to make the definition of "fuckable" more inclusive instead of saying that you don't …

I don't know 90DF but what the actual fuck? From what I figure from the context it's his grandson (Brandon?) who's engaged to a young girl and scrote thinks... This is appropriate? To say about anyone but more specifically his grandson's fiancee and even more specifically on TV? I swear to god some people men really need to develop more fricking shame

OK so I agree with everything, but I feel the need to mention that "Piper the Pocket Swiper" is the most delightful thing I've heard today and that I'm going to take a leaf from Piper's book and swipe her name cause I'm so using this in the future haha

Unempathetic. And not just to my own feelings. He should care about other people and animals, and should be naturally helpful and sympathetic to people/animals in need. Thinks my beliefs/standards/religion are up for debate or that his opinion on them matters. (Or has an opinion on them that disagrees with mine. I don't want to spend my life with someone who disagrees with my beliefs. I get people have different opinions, but I'm under no obligation to marry someone whose opinion on something so…

Goodness, I'm in a similar situation. My dad is the actual definition of negative value, physically and emotionally abusive both to us and to my mom. His hallmark is picking a huge fight, yelling and throwing his fists like he'll hit us (and sometimes just doing it) for an hour or so, and then leaving the house for four or five hours (usually we use that time to study or finally catch a break from his bullshit, but sometimes like yesterday it's so bad we spend most of it trying to recover a bit)…

I- she's nine years younger than him. She's heavily pregnant with his child. He talks about murdering her?! She says it's a joke but I don't think she will be saying that when he starts monitoring where she goes and what she does or when he starts getting violent. He's literally threatening her wtf??

I- what the actual hell?! I just hope the poor girl's college money gets left unstolen. Honestly I can't believe her mom is accepting her being put in this position?! I can't believe she didn't make it clear that it's a no and that she let him talk to her daughter! Her stepson is an adult fricking man and they're acting like it's valid to prioritize his addiction, that he's responsible for, over her future??? Even worse than explaining why they hurt you - the cursed "what did I do wrong?". An ex friend of mine used to be really into chatting with random guys on instagram for some reason, and would keep talking to them even when they were dropping red flags left and right - so many of them left her on read for days, negged her, one of them even went "maybe your friends can come with you when we go to the mall?" and more than a couple asked about her weight before her name. And when one time one of tho…

Right?! They can barely support themselves and still live with their parents, but still keep going on about the "4 wives" thing. They really don't seem to realise that for that to be even remotely possible they'd have to find four women actually into the crusty ass look

Lmao girl shouldn't trust him. Forcing your religion on anyone is horrible (also it's a sin in Islam - I'm muslim - but let's not get into that). Also, age difference. Also, if scrote really wanted Muslim kids that bad, he shouldn't have started a relationship with her. Miss me with him lying in the start of their relationship about "never forcing his religion on her". Homegirl should get out before he gets her involved in gross cult shit and (most probably) make her part of a harem too, guys li…

👏Exac-tly👏 Hell I'm muslim and I wouldn't trust a man who "converted" after being raised differently because chances are, he's just into the idea of having some sort of disgusting "submissive muslim bangmaid" shit and/or "polygamy" and doesn't even know the basics of the religion. It's gross as all hell.

I totally agree! Back before Covid existed, my family used to pool with a bunch of other families to go to uh, in Arabic we call it an "esteraha" but I can't really find an English translation. Basically it's a place that's like a chalet/courtyard cross located a bit further from the city. Anyway it'd be separated, with the women and men apart, and it was great. We'd go there every couple of weeks and most of my friends were from there haha. It's where I'd feel most comfortable, besides at schoo…
