I had a 50+ y/o teacher who never married and always claimed to be looking for a girlfriend while never actually making a move on any girl. Suspicious af.
I had an ex who claimed we were in a relationship but would hide me from his parents/family... sooo basically we were only open about it with my family. So I was 'HIS gf' but somehow I was not allowed to make it known he was MY bf. Needless to say, he would crop me out from pics so that I wouldn't show up on his social media. 🤡
Either way, once this is over I plan on leaving for good (unless I can figure out how to milk him a bit) - however, I'm 34 and worried about my options. Dump his ass. You're young and are better off alone than with some lying jerk.
I sat through a whole movie and half of the second one at his house. I almost died of boredom. Most overrated series of movies ever. Couldn't pretend to like that crap, but still went with the scrote to the cinema to watch the newest movie at that time just to please him, lol...
I hate online dating because of this. If you don't reply ASAP to a guy, they send a mean text to try to get your attention. They're butthurt, no doubt about it. I once didn't reply within 5 minutes to a guy on OKC and the guy was like "OH, SEEMS YOUR F* STUPID, YOUR IQ MUST BE SO LOW."
I tried reading it about 2 years ago but I was still in denial about my 'pickme' behaviours so I couldn't keep on reading lol. Maybe I should try again? 😂
True that. My dad's parents weren't divorced, but hey, my grandpa had affairs, he had another woman and other kids (some of those aunts I haven't even met). Marriage is not a guarantee of a good relationship example for a boy!!! However my dad turned out okay (I guess because he saw other relationship examples around him that were actually loving/faithful couples. He despised his dad's behaviour).
All of this I should have learned by just looking at my parent's relationship. My dad does all of this (buy her nice stuff, take her places, etc). However my mom is 'too nice' and thinks 'oh that guy (LVM) seems like a really nice guy, you should give him a chance'... which led me to some shitty relationships. I think my mom just got lucky with my dad (HVM). She doesn't even recognize LVMs when she sees them... could have ended up with a jerk.
I once had a teacher who was in a relationship with a gorgeous girl and he would post lots of pics on his FB with her, but would still try to flirt/ meet with me.
