There is also a lot of gender stratification for careers that would lead to someone being prepared to do this sort of thing (Police Officers/Firefighters are overwhelmingly men etc.)

White people ended up creating a society in which they were far superior to black people socioeconomically, does your paradox work there too? I mean, either they're equal, or white people are better because they forced black people into oppression. Or does that make it sound less paradoxical and more shitty?
