Just because the bar gets raised, doesn't mean you can't jump over it, quit being a defeatest. A douchebag that stole your lunch money is not some elite, untouchable pinnacle of attraction and perfection. Being a man also isn't some special club that only people that subscribe to seddit are allowed to attain, this reddit isn't Internet VS Jocks.

yeah, people do grow apart and in different directions. sometimes all you really have in common with some friends is you drink together after work, which isn't worth maintaining if you're making better friends regardless of how long you've known them.

This is the second question I've seen in the last couple of days asking about 'tricks'. If you're approaching this from the mindset that you are 'tricking' a girl in to being comfortable with you then I feel that comes from a place of dishonesty. You both want to be honestly comfortable with each other, and that won't happen if you feel you're tricking them in some way. There are techniques you can use sure, but never 'tricks'. The advice everyone has given is spot on, but I'll add another techn…

The Love Systems - Beyond Words DVD is actually a good product for body language. I personally feel it's something that is better to be shown or taught by someone else and experienced, rather than 'read' about. It's also useful to have someone around to point out flaws and problems with your body language. Years ago I took a body language for acting course which was really good and seems to be what the Love Systems Beyond Words material is based on. The Vercetti guy that does the DVD was an acto…

Man, you've just let the secret out! This is the opener I've been using for the past year and it works a treat, no more magic bullets, actually be honest with a girl, they find it refreshing!

Go direct and tell them they're hot, be honest with yourself and her, why did you approach her?

Day game and actually talking to and socialising with women outside of the club and bar scene. This totally killed any approach anxiety I had and let me develop the abundance mindset once I realised that women are everywhere and really easy to talk to!

Ignoring the Daily Mail spin on everything they write, and taking it at face value .. Women find happy men significantly less sexually attractive than those who swagger or brood, researchers said today. They are least attracted to smiling men, instead preferring those who looked proud and powerful, or moody and ashamed, according to a study. Looking proud and powerful is not the same as looking unhappy. It is possible to be proud, powerful, positive and talk to people. When people look moody or …

I'm totally going speed dating on V day, which will be nothing short of an hour of hilarity. Don't be a lonely, desperate single person and you won't give off that vibe. And every leap year the girl is allowed to ask the guy to marry her on V day, so I'm definitely working that in to a bunch of openers. Also what ClimbTREES said

It could be because you're not matching the state of the venue, becoming more familiar with the club can help, also getting to a venue earlier, when there are less people around and everythings quieter, because your state will increase as the tempo of the club does.

I teach so I see it often with my students, and we've no way of knowing whether the remarks to the OP are throw away comments or not, as you can inject venom through tonality and posturing, so I'm working off his presumption it was a shit test.

Be non-reactive, take it as a compliment and reframe her so she's hitting on you. "Thanks for the compliment, I'm glad you like me!"

Nice work, though try and get away from opinion openers and in to more situational openers, as due to all the women's magazines out there you might find yourself in a city sooner or later where asking for an opinion will get you some of the most hillarious 'hey, have you read the game?' blow outs ever ;)

That's strange then as I always go open direct nowadays, you should listen to TokyoPickup, he speaks gospel. Part of the problem might be, why is it you want to go up to a hot girl, and tell her she is hot, to simply make her day better? That is a little bit weird. She knows she's hot, so you're not really offering something new, it's almost like saying "hi, you're hot, but im so cool im actually leaving you now, have fun, bye". That's not really value 'giving' is it, also, why be 'value giving'…

You visualised the compliment failing and her being mortified, you got what you asked for.

It's just another example of the new wave of pickup marketing. Jumping on the Blueprint 'fix yourself' angle whilst also saying everything else is rubbish but going half arsed at it. The content of the entire site is minimal fluff at best and any community backing it is non existent judging by their voting system.

Dude, reframe. When you're approaching women you're screening them to see if they're cool enough for you to want to go on a date with. For all you know, those girls were unemployed drug addicts living off benefits with babies at home from several crack daddies, yet you've given them enough power to emotionally affect you for several months after the fact ..

Well done, one thing to note though is opinion openers can be hit and miss due to the number of women's magazines writing about the evil PUAs that use them to hit on women. Situational openers work better though are a lot harder to prepare. Don't forget your ABCs! Always Be Closing ;)

I think the issue is you're totally not outcome independent. You can deal with asking for directions or harassing shop workers because you're not after a particular outcome, and you're still beating yourself up over 1 failed approach 2 months ago.. You're going to have to deal with that. Personally when I approach it's to find out if they're cool enough to be worth my time and single. You're already not getting laid from day game, so doing loads of cold approaches that fail isn't going to make y…

I think anyone viewing sex as such an amazingly important thing, that they only want to have it once they are married, is probably too delusional to bother pursuing any kind of relationship with in the first place.

Stop with all the negging, from what I've read 'negs' are pretty much designed to break confidence, that's pretty rapey. I think you should read less and go out in to the field more. Then come back and tell us more about negs but with some actual insight gained by experience.
