I think I saw you’re not in the U.S.? If you come here you’ll have a completely different experience. The men are appreciated.

Sorry, but that made me burst out laughing. Hilarious mental image.

Argentine tango has a closed embrace and is all about breath work and connection over fancy moves and patterns. Definitely very intimate.

I’ve traveled the U.S. quite a lot as a dancer and studied in Uni and the dance scene is primarily white men in ballet, blues, and swing, but men of color in other dance forms. White American cis het men don’t dance very much as it’s seen as feminine / girly. Any advanced social / partner dance class will be mostly all men of color, but 2-3 women per man easy. And in classical forms of dance classes, even in large cities, few men. In fact if a man is there, he is probably the teacher.

Idk what kind of dancing you do, but this isn’t true in salsa, mambo, swing, blues/zydeco, modern, ballet, tap, jazz, acrocuban folkloric, or cumbia.

Partner dancing is a great way bc there’s always way more women than men.

It depends on what your city / region has to offer. My city has lots of FB groups for singles of each age group. Some are for networking, dating, volunteering, etc. some are all ages for kayaking, canoeing, hiking, roller skating, cycling, running, board games, probably a million others I don’t even know about. Meetup has the same. You can become involved with a local charity, political organization, ecology group, etc.

I’m currently listening to Esther Perel’s Mating in Captivity and she discusses this exact point. Good book so far.

I think this is why ppl see negging as working. Hype her up to pull the rug, but subtly. It’s garbage imo. But demonstrating self control and boundaries by showing GENUINE generosity AND boundaries - that’s the healthy way to show dominance & leadership.
/r/seduction27/03/24 06:52 PM

In fact, I challenge ppl to test it. Be nice to a lady, and let her relax bc you’re “just a bland nice guy” and when she assumes something about you, pull the rug, and set a boundary. Watch her beg for your attention. Hey I can lend a hand with that. 6pm? Next time she asks for something: no. I won’t do that bc it’s past 10 and I go to the gym early. Good luck w it. Lmk how it goes. Another stupid ass / probably not realistic example but you get my point: Get her a drink bc you’re going to the b…

By being “nice” and calling these dysfunctional people “nice” it has created a whole misguided dialogue. A person can absolutely be nice and have boundaries and a backbone and get laid.

If you find yourself saying things like “we’re gonna do this thing.” She says why? You say “bc Jake wants to.” And that happens twice - forget it. She now wants to f Jake, and she’s never even met him. That’s an example of nice guy rejection. The phrase should be “he’s such an indecisive guy” because that’s what it means. Saying “nice guy” is just a nice way of saying indecisive. So be decisive. Show initiative. Maybe even talk about how you did something different from the gang, or how they’re …

Nice guys - in the negative context - are guys who seem to have no backbone. It’s guys who do whatever their more dominant male best friend says to do. It’s guys who say whatever they think the person wants to hear to be agreeable, in an effort to seem likable (but it’s a fake persona). Clues a man is “nice” does/says/believes things but doesn’t know why. When pressed you find out it’s bc it’s what his bff thinks/does/wants to do, etc seems to lack boundaries. We all want a man who likes and lov…

It’s common sense to do a video chat before paying that much money.
/r/seduction25/03/24 04:58 AM

Was she REALLY a catfish? Or things didn’t go quite how you hoped so you’re telling yourself it was a catfish so you feel like not paying is “fair”? It seems like ppl who enjoy getting over on others always come up with fake justifications for it. Just be the person you are, don’t pay, and when you look in the mirror, continue to tell yourself the lie that you’re always the victim.

And plenty of women are happy to have a sex only relationship if the sex is good and everyone is respectful in general. If a person has to be manipulative and pretend to like them then they’re probably not great in bed. Then the resentment builds. Sex is good but what a toxic life.

I may be the odd man out here, but I say be quick & casual. If it’s recurring, the second or third meeting is great. But do it in a way that’s very non-confrontational. “This is nice . I’d like to hang out with you more.” Leave it at that. Take a beat. Maybe switch topics, but don’t stare her down for a reply. But watch her body language. If she looks anything other than happy, drop it and move on, and continue building rapport. If she looks happy, or says sure, say how about next week. Don’t wa…

She needs to know she means more to you than bubba across the street. And you just saying so doesn’t do shit for her. She needs to see it, consistently, through actions. Just like a woman can tell you she is horny for you, but if she ain’t fuckin you, you’re gonna get “bored” talking about fucking, and move on. What on earth are you thinking so hard about over there? She needs to know she is important to you. If she isn’t, just tell her that. “Is it okay if we keep fucking even though I don’t re…

Everything yore saying about the duality of “what women want” is 100% accurate and your feelings make total sense, right? Your feelings fit the situation. The duality exists because women are individuals, and also aren’t perfect beings. Women also have to guard themselves for their own safety. It doesn’t matter what you know, she is the one who has to put her safety into your hands. I think you’re underestimating the real risk women take with men. If you’re not willing to take that seriously- th…

Other ways to be prepared for defensive replies “oh so you just want to hook up?” “Well, I just wanted to make you some caprisi salad. For this one lady I can only speculate- but if you have a trend of girls being friendly, and they give you their number, go on a date, and all roads lead to ghost. If You’re being a gentleman, being good company, not throwing weird vibes > are you saying you don’t know how to transition out of light chit chat zone into something sensual or sexual? And women are left feeling like they’re on a date w their brother? That’s done by slowing the convo DOWN. Fast funny banter is great, but just to brea…

Having a good time & anxious are incongruous. If she is anxious something about her instincts are saying “be on defense, I’m not sure I’m okay here.” Women have sex when they are RELAXED. You’ve got to put her at ease. Keep her engaged? You’re not a circus clown. Your job as a man is to make her feel safe & protected. So, in summary, you are very sure that it’s what you SAY that gets what you want. And I’m trying to tell you that it’s how you make her FEEL. I feel like you’re just chatting away …

Okay, you said what I was trying to say above, before I read this comment. I was trying to say that what you describe as self-confidence, women recognize as insecure/ having a guard up. My main tip is to not sell yourself on things men find cool. You’re doing a “soft sale” here. You’re cracking an intelligent or totally goofy joke - but you’re watching for her response to it, and drawing that / her into the convo. “Oh you thought that was funny? Well, good. I like to make you laugh.” Flash her a…

Seducing a woman is in her mind. It’s taking the lead - not needing her to give you something to go off of - bc then she is leading. If you’re on a date and you’re asking good, genuine questions to know her, and she isn’t replying - it’s time to pause and ask (with kindness/genuine concern for her well-being) if she is having a good time? Or if she’d like to go home.

To be clear, this is a woman who happily gave you her number on Tuesday? Then no reply? Like you regularly get numbers - then ghosted? I’m just trying to paint a picture for understanding.

Self confident men aren’t threatened by the thought of providing (at levels appropriate to the relationship), because they know they have resources - financial, social, intellectual, emotional, and they have talent, and they aren’t threatened by the thought of sharing it with others (again, at appropriate levels for the situation). They show good judgment, and good character. Being a know it all is red flag behavior, because it’s macho exterior, which always means fearful on the inside.

This scares off women who are emotionally mature. Because they can sense what you perceive to be self confidence is actually an ego-shield. Maturity is having ease, making other people feel wanted & comfortable, being a care-taker, being capable of tending to the needs of others (with boundaries), showing kindness, open-ness, being a good listener, making someone laugh, knowing how to give genuine compliments, being sincere. You’ve already admitted you struggle to be honest & sincere with women.…

So let’s say you get home and it’s on the smaller side, what do you do? Do you stop it all right there once you’ve seen it? And let him know “sorry this isn’t going to work out.”

If you’re asking how to be a good conversationalist, this is a skill worth cultivating for all sorts of reasons. There are lots of books, videos, clubs, coaches, etc on this topic. I swear to god the key to getting a good mate is to be sane, genuinely good hearted, have self-respect/ solid boundaries, treat others w respect, and be GOOD company.

Also when I say be kind, I don’t mean be nice. These are two very different things. Nice is a facade of agreeableness or fakeness to be liked. Kindness is genuine empathy for how other ppl feel. Women do not like nice guys, because they’re being manipulative, and it’s usually obvious. Also nice guys can come across as friend/brother vibes. There needs to be chemistry to the interaction. Standing facing her, not shoulder to shoulder. Eye contact, to dominate her attention, not glancing all around…

This depends greatly on your age, and other demographic information. When you say options, you mean for sex or for relationships & dating? In general, if you’re approaching strangers in public, the first thing to do is exchange a glance. When you do this you need to have a little half smile on your face. But like you were already smiling from your current convo and when you threw your head back you shared your smile & eye contact with her. It gives the feeling the sight of her caught your attent…
