i think OP is right in the fact childbearing etc are undervalued because they are womens “jobs” but i genuinely dont think that reflects on undervaluing children

luckily that’s not the norm and again has nothing to do with children but with adult men. i want to know where you live that beating and raping kids is acceptable because they came from women?

that has nothing to do with children, and everything to do with adults. where arent children seen as valuable? they absolutely are, as they should be, and protected, as they should be. they arent taken seriously because children are usually young and thus considered to lack experience or worldview to be on par with adults. so it’s not children that are undervalued, it’s women itt: people arguing points i never made

aside from studying and working which continued for me regardless of the current situation, I’m (re)learning 3 languages (italian, korean and sign), doing some light coding on the side, I enjoy jogging and volunteering. I love having a routine or daily tasks because just laying down watching netflix depresses me lol Do you do diving trips or do you live near the ocean? Either way it sounds so exciting!

this reminds me of an ex of mine who would ask me what i want, i would tell him exactly what i want, and then he would go and get me something way more expensive and extravagant. a famous saying about weddings/engagements is “if it’s about the ring, it’s not really about the ring”. my guess is the whole point is him not listening to what she told him she wants and he agreed to but then again... im not in their relationship so 🐸☕️

well do you love him? do you feel loved by him? i think thats a silly reason to break up honestly, especially if the official relationship still fresh. in fact, its a red flag to say it too soon, maybe youre just putting too much weight into saying it as opposed to showing it?

feeling bad is normal because you are an empathic human but you dont owe him anything. all of those things he did were his choices that you did not make or even ask him to do. NEVER go on a date you go into feeling uncomfortable, trust your gut!!! tbh that really creepy and i would personally block him for all of that...

if he actually cared about her, he would do it no questions asked. but he knows he doesn’t have to and he gets what he wants regardless, because her feelings will make her give in to him. ladies, here’s a mantra for all of us: WHAT YOU ALLOW WILL CONTINUE!

respond with “I know this might seem paranoid but I prefer to get to know someone for at least a [time period] before throwing a date out there. There are too many creeps and weirdos walking around.” honestly it seems like a tactic to get you to meet him by dangling something in front of you and he is just a stranger online, you cannot be too safe.

ohhh that totally makes sense, i really thought it was just interchangeable with women. i am going to be conscious of cutting it out of my vocabulary. thank you very much!

She said “Mariah fired back with, “Remarry? This is him making this up. This is him being silly.” She was then asked, “Are you good with the single life the rest of your life, basically?” And Mariah, having none of that nonsense, replied, “What is he, my last hope?” I had to google because that site doesn’t work for me so if anyone else is in the same predicament

oh wow I haven’t even considered how her behavior reflects on me to other people! Yeah that pretty much makes my decision rock solid. Thank you

I’m leaning towards cutting her off because it’s like her whole identity becomes the man she is seeing, I just wasn’t sure if it’s “enough” of a reason. Thank you

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
