Sunscreen absolutely makes a difference for someone like OP, who is trying to get rid of acne marks. Without sunscreen, there’s a chance the marks will get darker. Also, if she’s using chemical exfoliants or retinoids to help clear her acne marks, she needs to protect her skin from the sun at all costs. Obviously.
