So you had a pre-determined route beforehand? Mind sharing the cities you visited? I'll think i'd most likely do New Delhi, Agra and Jaipur since I've heard good things about that combo.

So I assume this was your first time going to India. You just booked your plane ticket and said fuck it with no real plan? That is a bad ass way of shaking your reality up. I'm really interested in doing something like this. I have no plans this summer and feel like I'm essentially going to waste my time like I always do. Getting 2000 for 1-3 months in India is really feasible.

How exactly do you plan your trip? Tell yourself: 1 week in Mumbai to get settled in and take it all in. Then take a train somewhere far. Rajastan. Delhi. Calcutta (I loved Calcutta.) Kerala. Tamil Nadu. To someone who doesn't know hindi, how do you navigate your way around?
