2	you're not a nice guy. Just tell them out right, and if they tell you they don't feel the same way, believe them and move on. It's never good or healthy to stay friends if one of you want more. And I usually get the, "well some women want to play hard to get or want you to try harder" response when I give that answer. I've never met a woman (being a woman myself) who has ever wanted the guy to "try harder" but I do believe it happens since so many have said otherwise.
