You misunderstood my point. I was attempting to agree with you that one does not invalidate the other by pointing out that she does not know his experiences and thus cannot truly represent them. I am not attempting to in any way trivialize the assault of men. I agree it's a serious problem, I just think the solution is not going to be one-size-fits-all, similar to the differences in medical treatment for men and women. Both are equal, but they are not identical.
