lol, women have to be accountable for someone not getting a date or laid?? no one owes anyone shit in this regard, if no one wants to date you then thats it, keep looking , no one has to lower their standards for anyone
we were talking about violent parents, of course im biased which is why i said don't trust me and form your own opinions on your own research, looks like you've done that already so that's good
https://www.crimetraveller.org/2015/07/serial-killers-childhood-abuse/ this article cited a few research studies on the subject, but i encourage you to do your own research and not trust me or anyone on this site for that matter
there is definitely a correlation to violent parents creating violent children, now whether that results in serial killing is dependent on many more factors
you're right, there are all kinds of shitty family circumstances that can contribute to a dude becoming a serial killer including resentful mothers and absent fathers
for me, i am 5'9 and currently around 185, i took a DEXA recently and showed that, while my BMI is high, i have a very low fat percentage cmpared to other women my age and very high bone density tor the same, so again it really depends on body comp and weight distribution
thank you for the link. any group aiming to use their civil rights activism for anything other than creating true equality/equity is not really a civil rights movement at that point, just perpetuating the very concept they seem to be fighting against. its like some animal farm type shit at that point
im not saying you're wrong. im just saying it doesn't really help the case of men's rights (or any population group's rights) to dismiss one group's oppression in light of your own. the op could've just said "men are 12x more likely to die at work than women" with a credible article instead of comparing this to a women's rights issue. doing this is most likely going to make women care less, not more
i think the term feminist was coined because they focus on bringing women's issues to the forefront because for so long, these issues went unaddressed. each population group can have their own fight (feminism, mens rights, black lives matter, etc) but to not care about another population group's issues only makes it harder for them to care about yours. just be sure to give them their space to talk about the issues that affect them which will hopefully make it easier for them to hear you about you…
a real feminist would realize that many of men's issues bleed into womens issues and vise versa, often times they dont exist separately from each other. addressing an issue that disproportionately affects men (e.g. men being killed at work) would help to sove some of womens issues too (e.g. becoming a widow/single mom because your husband/boyfriend died at work)
the key is to understand that both men and women have their own, unique plights in our society, and when we try to one-up each other with "who has it worse", it doesn't solve anything. both sides are valid and need to be heard/addressed
yes and you can go build your own roads, create your own school cirriculum and have your own firefighters too. its called putting money/resources in the right places
