I’m an ally and I’m transfemale. It would be very ignorant to assume transitioning doesn’t help or flat out cure dysphoria. It is why transgender people decide to transition. Not all trans people transition, but those who do, all the way, usually have dysphoria. They want relief. Its also no secret to be sorting things out internally with a mental health professional before and during and after this process. Personally, I have transitioned, had surgery, and holy fuck, Ive never felt more comfort…

Google some trans vaginas. Its not hard. Jeez. These days, like especially the past 5-10 years. You can’t tell. A gynecologist wont either. Cause its a vagina. Like, dude its a vagina. Unless the scarring around it never healed properly. Or it wasn’t properly cared for. The penis is turned into a vagina. Literally. Im not denying vaginas ovaries and a uterus make babies. And to the women who cant have children, most of the time its because the the ovaries or uterus aren’t functional. Their vagin…

Transpeople transition to free themselves of dysphoria. Its not controversial. It works. I never said it was end all be all. You change what you can and accept the things you cannot. But it is a massive process, and when followed responsibly, it overwhelmingly has a positive effect and largely reduces or outright cures dysphoria. Which to the people who do make this leap, is better than the alternative.

A woman who can’t carry children is not a woman? And if a gynecologist sees all the anatomical parts I listed they will obviously assume its a vagina. All vaginas look different. A trans vagina after healing looks no different to them. All the anatomical parts are there. I’m not sure why you are confused.

If a woman had her ovaries removed and uterus removed, her vagina still has a very active sexual function. She no longer has periods. She has to take hormones and cannot conceive children. But she is in love, and makes love with her partner. It is a natural biological function deeply connected to her brain and identity and sexuality. The Muscles and nerves of genitalia are obviously very deeply connected into our brain. Reacting in ways that are entirely dependent on who this or any girl is. My …

People don’t come out as gender dysphoric. They come out as transgender. There IS a massive separation between the two. Transitioning is a cure to dysphoria. Its that simple.. and i don’t know why, but people want to believe it doesn’t work. It fucking works. Really. Being trans and having dysphoria are cause and effect. They aren’t inherently connected or the same as you think. Can a fully transitioned transperson feel severe dysphoria, yeah I guess, but how responsible are they being with them…

They do kill themselves. For a TON of reasons, that, may or may not be intrinsically connected to the fact they they live a trans experience. But trust me- transitioning is them trying to save their lives first. There are tons of mentally healthy transpeople. They are healthy because of transitioning. But hey, you must be the expert. Im not speaking logically? Sorry is there something you understand about transpeople that I don’t? What am I missing? Lets break it down once more. Being transgende…

The genitalia can be a major source of dysphoria, which is why people get the surgery. To relieve themselves of that dysphoria. There may be other sources of dysphoria that haven’t yet been resolved, but the whole point of transition is to resolve these things. And not suffer from gender dysphoria anymore The suicide rates are where they are for waaaay more reasons than I can count. Regretting transitioning is 999/1000 times not one of those things.

The experience of severe panic and distress caused by ones body not being that of the gender the identify with. Transitioning cures dysphoria. Which in turn makes mentally healthy transpeople.

Its a vaginnnaaa. Hey did u know ur dick and testicles and tip of ur penis used to be ur vaginal canal, ovaries, and clitoris??? True story. Edit- I apologize, these parts were POTENTIALLY a fully developed vaginal canal, clitoris and ovaries. But lets face it. It was waaay way more vaginal than penile. God forbid if something where to go wrong during that process of change. ‘Cause biology is a perfect machine that never makes mistakes. /s

Transgret? So wait, like, regretting being trans? Regretting transition, regretting surgery? Do you even know what you’re talking about though? Cause like, the post op transgirl vagina isn’t even recognizable as trans to gynecologists after healing. In fact, The anatomy of a post op vagina is equal to a born as female vagina who had ovaries and uterus removed (which definitely happens) The anatomy is the same, the function is 90% or more. Soooo they regret having a vagina? After feeling like the…

Deciding to transition was not a “if you can’t beat them join them” type of decision it was the decision I made because of an inherent divide I’ve had my entire life. It had to do with me myself and i finally being honest with myself, and literally nothing else.

Or... maybe it’s being 7 years old, praying to Jesus in tears every night, praying that tomorrows that day i get to wake up and be a girl. Or same age, tucking in front of a mirror wondering why my vagina looks so fucking weird. Or after years of realizing that its only ever socially awkward and confusing when i act genuinely myself, to put on a show for those around me. A show that doesn’t stop until im 25 years old. Until I finally saying fuck it, NO MORE LIES, and take responsibility and acco…
