My opener is typically walking up to a girl and saying "Hi" with a smile. Are there better openers or is it enough?I can't even laugh at how meta this is. OP, did you pick out that opinion-based opener just for us? You're too much. We feel so special. You even went so far as to highlight how you don't open this way for just anyone. To reiterate what's already been posted - you can open any way you choose. If you're getting positive responses, that means it's working. As for how well it's working, well, it's a relativity game. Go ahead and try new things; see how they work for you. I am not you, so I cannot c… | /r/seduction | 08/03/12 08:45 PM
Ladies/gentlemen of seddit: I'm a woman who would like your advice on how to get asked out more.and yet they still haven't come out with bacon flavor ice cream. C'mon science! Get busy! Just saying. Edit to say: Never mind. Missed the reply below. I liked my FTFY formatting though. This is blasphemy, but I don't think I'd actually like bacon-flavored ice cream. | /r/seduction | 08/03/12 06:23 PM
Ladies/gentlemen of seddit: I'm a woman who would like your advice on how to get asked out more.Thank you for the feedback. I try my best. I learned (and am still learning) from a great guru. | /r/seduction | 07/03/12 06:21 PM
Ladies/gentlemen of seddit: I'm a woman who would like your advice on how to get asked out more.I'm going to be a bit more intrusive. Apologies in advance if I make you uncomfortable. I am curious about your expectations. How long is "a while?" If it has only been a year, then I would say that you're doing quite well on your own. I'm more than happy to offer additional tips, but anything beyond "practice your smile" and "try being the one to approach" may be unnecessary. Who are the "few people" who have told you this? Were some of them the friends of friends who eventually asked you out? … | /r/seduction | 07/03/12 04:30 AM
Ladies/gentlemen of seddit: I'm a woman who would like your advice on how to get asked out more. After re-reading OP's initial post, I have these thoughts: I'm 24, been told I'm very pretty but don't look particularly approachable. I've been in one long term relationship (for how long? how did you two meet?), which was relatively successful (what does this mean?). Since then (since when - a year ago?), I feel like I have come up against a wall of sorts (compared to when? when was the last time you "dated"? was there a time when you were approached by a lot of guys - presumably before the st… | /r/seduction | 06/03/12 06:51 PM
Ladies/gentlemen of seddit: I'm a woman who would like your advice on how to get asked out more.23-year-old female here with similar problem. Mostly resolved now. I'm satisfied, but there's always room for improvement. Disclaimer: I generally initiate contact, but I will try to address both approaching and encouraging approaches. Definitely practice your smile. It will feel awkward. To start out, try and spend 5-10 minutes a day smiling at yourself in the mirror. You can do this in the bathroom at home or into your compact while you're commuting or wherever, really. My mother has been tell… | /r/seduction | 06/03/12 05:28 PM
Ladies/gentlemen of seddit: I'm a woman who would like your advice on how to get asked out more. Also, 12 in a year is pretty high, IMO. That's an average of 1 per month. To put it in perspective: you are working full-time, volunteering with 2 organizations, trying to co-found a small business, and collaborating on a white paper. I'm assuming that doesn't leave you much free time. In addition, you have a wide circle of friends, so a substantial amount of your free time is probably spent catching up with them. | /r/seduction | 06/03/12 05:20 PM
Ladies/gentlemen of seddit: I'm a woman who would like your advice on how to get asked out more.Being attractive does not refer strictly to your looks (although looks can go a long way). Cleanliness, dress, physical beauty, posture, facial expressions, and presentation are all physical attributes that contribute to an attractive package. There are a number of intangible attributes that need to be coaxed forth in order to complete the attraction though, and most of these will be a result of improving your inner game - confidence, conversationability, comfortable aura, etc. But yes, generall… | /r/seduction | 06/03/12 05:12 PM
