2	What was the moment you realized it was over? Divorce will be finalized next week. I was not strong at the beginning. It took therapy, medicine and a support group to survive. At the end of last summer, a month and a half after my ex moved out she strung me along making me think there could be a chance, however small, that she could work on the marriage if I gave her some space to "think about" what she wants. 1	Taking the ring off I threw mine into a lake on what would have been our 5 year anniversary. Easy decision after she decided to have an affair and leave me 2 weeks after getting her college degree which I helped pay for. 10	Get out when the mask falls When I first met my stbx I had dreams she was cheating on me.
