Thank you for saying this, it came across as "this is what you get for being stupid", which is a narrative that I really grow tired of being thrown at women for wanting compassion and respect. I had a huge problem with seeing EDs being referred to as "co-addictions" for empathy. As someone who had an ED for 25 years (and will be in recovery for the remainder of my life), they are frequently referred to as addictions and not only is it completely false but another way to victim blame.
