Not sure where you get this "should" from. Is there not a range between scumbag and a perfect human? There is also a range of how much you are willing to sacrifice, I think. Will you buy no beer and put it all in your kids' college fund? Will you remove all joy from your life and live vicariously through your kids? Would you want to set that example for your kids? You have what you feel is good for you to do for your children, I have what I think is good for mine ... and I will not teach him to …

I do love my son ... but I don't know what unconditionally means. I'm sure you don't mean "give into his every whim" or "stay with his mother even if she is verbally abusive" or "tell him I love him and it's fine if he hits me" ... maybe you can explain.

Awesome reply. I can love my woman, hell two or three, I can love my son, I can love my dog. But this doesn't mean that I'm going to sacrifice my life for them. It means I enjoy spending time with them, and that I want the good for them. I may even *enjoy* making smallish "sacrifices" for them --- playing a game my son likes, instead of reading, for example. But I do these things to the point that we both enjoy them ... no more. You are in charge of living your life in a way that you feel good .…

The first two can lead to a dead relationship even when the last isn't really present ... although it can begin to manifest in a dead relationship after a while.

Not bad. One of the main things is just being comfortable. I would add a few things. Exercise. You should be doing that anyway. Lift and HIIT. Your dick works with your cardiovascular system, so keep it healthy. Take your time. Learn to eat pussy really well...if you like it...if you don't, find a woman who tastes better. A big part of good sex is simply abundance mentality. Do what you like, if she doesn't like that, don't blame her, just find someone compatible. Take your time, why are you fra…

No big surprise, most women are more risk averse than most men. That's just their nature ... no reason to hate on them for it. "Independent" or "branch-swinging" --- they come from basically the same root --- aversion to risk.

I think you can find better explanations online. It's just missionary, but instead of thrusting, placing your body a bit further up, letting your weight rest more on your pubis and onto hers (on her clit, which you may be able to feel as a little bump), and then rocking forward and backward, or side to side or circles. Again, your weight on feet, pubis and arms, not knees. It can help to prop her butt up a bit to get the angle right. Like I said, not thrusting, maintain contact between your pubi…

Not bad. For everything you want to do to a woman, there is a woman who wants that done to her ... or is very willing to do so to please you. We tend to say that "AWALT" here. And yes, AWALT, but that doesn't mean that all women are the same. Different women have different sexual desires or hang-ups ... it's your job to find one (or more) who do what you want for you. As stated, most women like to have a man in control during sex ... most of the time. Just fuck her however you want ... talk to h…

Have opinions, don't be afraid to share them, be honest ... maybe even a slight caricature of yourself, but honest. This doesn't mean insult people, of course. But be willing to talk about your past, your religion (or lack thereof), your politics, sex. Sex, religion and politics are the forbidden topics of polite conversation ... you're not trying to be polite, you're trying to be interesting. Women prefer unashamed, honest, great men to polite, good men. One thing that can help is stories. You …

Top quality post I would clarify the sex drive a bit, they definitely have a drive ... and for all the things you want to do to a woman, there is a woman who wants those done to her. There may be some difference in the origin of the drive, but women want to be fucked ... especially if you're good at giving them orgasms. However, a woman's sex drive also changes through the month. When she's ovulating, she'll have the desire to fuck a random handsome stranger on the street behind the bar (not tha…

Yes, women are attracted to power. The point is just that power and status are different things ... perhaps status is simply a manifestation of social power. Power can refer to someone alone on a desert island ... they may or may not have the power to do a certain thing. Status always refers to a social relation.

"Power" is just the closest English word ... and allows one to make a physics metaphor. As I said, "power" can come in many forms. This can include simply a talent like playing guitar --- the power to entertain. Even "freedom" ... the will power to live as one wants or free from societal norms can be a kind of power in this sense. There are some other things that might make you interesting as a person too, and that's very important ... but not necessarily attractive ...

You're talking about bottoms attracted to tops for the most part. We can talk about free will if you like ... but it's kinda outside the scope of this sub. I do agree that one of the most attractive "powers" is simply the power of will. Agree about the insignificance of brute strength ... however, we're talking about attractiveness ... and our attractions haven't caught up with the modern world. I agree that social power (either via wealth or politics) is the highest. I also think power gained v…

No. Men aren't particularly attracted to power in women. And men aren't generally attracted to power in other men either. Weak men are often envious or afraid of powerful men ... this can manifest as simple fear or as disgust/hate. You're talking about social power -- that is one manifestation of power. Others include brute strength, engineering intelligence and the ability to get food. Free will doesn't enter into it. This is somewhat correct ... but women are attracted to different kinds of po…

Yeah, no. Women are attracted to power. Power is the ability to get shit done now. Different women are attracted to different types/manifestations/signals of power under different circumstances, at different times, in different places. Hell, some women may even be disgusted by certain very extreme signals of power (like Ronnie Coleman), but they will generally overlook it. Power is not bad. Power is good. The same goes for women too. They sell themselves as put together, fun, sexy, pretty, carefree... and much of that disappears after a man is locked down, either by marriage or a baby. Especially with a baby, it's understandable that priorities may change, but one needs to be very conscious of it. I don't think this change in behaviour can be stopped, because it stems from a change in attitude and emotion. Then, what you spoke of and this fall into a vicious spiral of disappointment...with no rea…

This is a great reply in its truth ... however, it hinges on people following a common fallacy: the sunk cost fallacy (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunk_cost). People have a tendency to keep investing in what they have already invested a lot into. I'm not certain, but I think this is particularly true of women ... perhaps this is related to how their biology is different.

The point is that other people may value you differently from how you value yourself. At least, if we're going to talk somewhat outside of seduction, some people may actually value that part of you, they may value the understanding of them that it allows you to give. That said, talking about seduction, what most women are attracted to is power. Absolutely. u/are_those_real talks about the "Love Languages" as well ... and there is some truth to that. Unfortunately, as you say, many people seem to have the instinct that others "speak the same language" ... and that can lead to misunderstanding. Honestly, one can learn to please people by learning their language, but this can be emotionally unfulfilling ... especially when it isn't reciprocated. It's much better to find someone whose language is, not the same, but complementary. I say com…

Maybe you want someone to cuddle up in your lap ... that doesn't mean you should cuddle up in hers. Maybe you want a woman to cook you breakfast ... that doesn't mean she wants the same thing (or not with the same intensity or frequency anyway). This is not just seduction, this is life and economics. People have different things and want different things ... that's what makes cooperation and division of labor reasonable. Don't treat people as you would want to be treated, treat them as they want to be treated. Maybe you don't have the intelligence or empathy to know what other people want. You will never convince anyone of anything they are not emotionally prepared (or at least open) to believe by logical argument. Even a mathematician, which I am, will struggle with a logical proof whose conclusions radically alter their worldview ... just think of the reactions to Goedel. Even the most logical person must essentially go through all the "stages of grief" to come to terms with a radical change. TLDR: We are all entrepreneurs, capitalists and laborers. Some economics over analysis: People tend to conflate the functions of entrepreneur and capitalist in discussing business. Sure, one person usually takes on both roles (to some extent) in a new business, but no person is completely without a share of these functions. Separating the functions, a pure "capitalist" would be someone who had no interest in the business and took no risk, they only supplied the capital (a loan) and expect only i…

It depends on what you mean by "stable environment." A traditional nuclear family, assuming it's happy, is a "stable environment." And, sometimes, too much power will make a woman feel insecure ... hell, really excessive muscles or even displays of wealth might be disgusting for some women. Meh, I'm basically going to agree with u/Keith_Valentine. What's attractive is power ... and self-confidence (which is really just a signal of power). That's not to say the post is wrong, we do need somewhat detailed information on how to lift, for example. Women are attracted to power. Power comes in various forms. But sometimes it means being able to do whatever the fuck you want (but that's just freedom) and being powerful enough to not pay serious social consequences ... being untamed, but not a beggar. Women are attracted to power. Different women are attracted to different manifestations, types, displays, etc. of power (at different times, under different circumstances, etc.). It's not bullshit, but yes, the flowers need to be attractive and perfuming ... and you still have to have the net. When you tell people about yourself, don't list facts, tell stories. If you need to, sit down and write the stories of your life. Goods are valued "on the margin," see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marginalism When we consider this, it's not surprising that a liter of water costs less than a gram of gold --- even though we might value "all the water" much more than "all the gold." "All the water" and "all the gold" is never for sale on the market. Similarly, a "thirsty" man is willing to pay a lot more for "water," whereas a man who gets all he wants will pay very little or have higher standards for the water he consumes.

I haven't read The Rational Male yet, maybe I should. Women "say" they aren't attracted to strength/muscles, but they are ... though there is a limit. And, again, different women are attracted to different types of power to different degrees. 5x5 is a good start, but really I've found that Starting Strength (3 sets of 5) works a bit better ... 5x5 is just a bit too much volume for a novice to recover from. Still, the main thing is lift, lift heavy and do compound movements to save time. Also, ge…
/r/seduction14/02/19 03:26 PM

Read Models. Lift. Women are attracted to power...different types of power for different women. Power is good. Power is simply the ability to get shit done. Become as powerful as you can.

Ignore the haters. This is exactly what most women are attracted to, though, as I said, in various degrees and to various manifestations. If you find a lack of confidence so creepy that you can't even form a friendship, so be it. It's not like we can actually judge from a few words what degree of lack of confidence and lack of friendship you mean. Unfortunately, most of the guys here will hear this as "treat women like shit and they'll like it" ... but a few will eventually learn.
/r/seduction13/12/18 11:20 AM

Women are attracted to power. Different women are attracted more or less to different manifestations of power, depending on current, cultural and personal circumstances. Manifestations of power include: physical strength/power, money, social/governmental power, intelligence, "freedom", etc. Power is simply the ability to get shit done quickly, or, amount of work done per unit of time to steal from physics ... which stole the term from natural language. As such, power is not evil. Power is simply…

"All models are wrong, but some are useful." Simple models of the world allow fast calculation, decision and action, closing the OODA loop faster. Women are attracted to power. Power is manifested in many ways: wealth, physical strength, intelligence, authority, etc. People want what they don't have, or what is scarce. Therefore, different women may be more attracted to different manifestations of power. "Improve yourself" means get more power. Power is not evil. Power is simply the ability to d…

Power is, partly, the ability to do violence. Really, that's what political power is, the power to (legally) use force to make others do what you want. However, power can also be constructive. Power is simply, as I said, the ability to get work done quickly --- that could easily be building a house, getting a table at a restaurant or traveling/moving or any number of other useful things. Of course, power should also include the ability for violence, the ability to protect what one has.

Power, not strength. People respect power. Women are attracted to power. What is power? Taking an analogy from physics, which stole it from language, power is the ability to do work in a short amount of time. Power is the ability to get shit done now. Money gives power ... as long as what you want is for sale. Political/social influence gives power ... as long as other people can provide what you want. Physical power is power ... as long as you just need to move a physical object. Intellect give…

No, they don't necessarily. For one, often priests used religion for personal gain. But let's suppose you mean true believers. You're wrong. I'm not religious, but you can't really support a statement that all religion is BP --- you can certainly give many examples which are, but this doesn't necessarily apply to all. Yes, they've already had children from the first father. It's still evolutionarily advantageous for them to have as many different genes in their children as possible -- it's more likely that one of them will survive that way. It's a simple fact that intelligence "peaks" slower than physical ability or looks. Be glad that you won the intelligence lottery rather than the physical one, because intelligence is an asset that can continue to appreciate for a lifetime. The jujitsu is great, along with the conditioning it will give you, it will help you find some confidence. But I suggest you take up a more social hobby as well -- there is a reason so many guys learn how to play the guitar a bit. Basically, learn a "party sk…

...I don't think so ... "Science" and "Rationality" is the best I can come up with. ... What follows is rambling. I don't know. There is a fundamental paradox in human life -- that we are capable of reason, "should" have free will, and have rights ... yet, we have evolved from much less rational and mentally free ancestors and have difficulty escaping some of the various mental shortcuts and fallacies that helped them survive and reproduce. I think a similar paradox exists in law: assume a man h…

I've met one model (a university student, mathematics) who was really interesting -- and magnificently beautiful. I really fucked up with her. I won't go into details, but my personal life was fucked at the time. ... Also, she was 20 and me 31 ... still, ... ... She was what made me realize that I'm actually a damn good catch though. But, yeah, a lot of them just want to be seen ... or may be actually paid by the club they often dance at (even if not on stage). Yeah, ... I never talk about TRP n…

There are many good things TRP can do. But a great deal of what I see here is a vastly oversimplified stereotype of male-female relationships -- correct, but oversimplified. Many of the people here only seem interested the the pussy a woman has (and other holes) -- but I can't really feel attracted to a woman who isn't mentally interesting in some way -- an artist, a linguist, a lawyer, well-travelled, etc. I say this because I've been out with (low-level) models before -- and all they wanted to…

It's very important to find some hobby to both improve yourself and keep you humble. Sports can work, music, or even a game like chess (go/baduk is even better). I grew up in a very small town, but with the Internet now, anyone can be shown that they're just the biggest fish in a small pond -- and that hard work really is necessary (even if you enjoy the work).

That's quite a reply. The corollary is that one should be careful of long-term relationships with girls coming from very conservative cultures -- often the girls from these cultures that one actually meets are the wildest ones.

Certainly, but over in seduction PUA is, unsurprisingly, seen as the purpose of life ... many of them are still clinging to the validation they get from it. It's a tool, and often a rather blunt one. ... Okay, maybe I'm shitting on it a bit. ... I'm glad you're moving away from the need for external validation, be careful that you remain able to take advice. My advice-- take up a hobby that teaches some humility like chess or go/baduk.

Sometimes this sub swings a little too far over to seduction. Most of them onlyhave short-term goals and wabt hookup tricks ... improve yourself for yourself -- then you are the judge. Have long term career and life goals that don't depend on women. As they say in baduk ... play lightly (with relationships).

Related to LTR, look the Optimal Stopping Theory video on bbc ... and check out the Secretary Problem. If one applies this theory -- assuming a man could be 'looking' from 15 to 75 -- the optimal age to really get serious is around 35. Surprised?

Yes, of course. There are ways to account for that as well -- though I don't think it's developed in the links I gave, and it makes it quite a bit more complicated.

Hadn't thought of that, but yes.

Also, do what you like to do, get good at it, be successful and be a bit social -- a girl will come to you and if you keep your eyes open, you'll notice.

How to say this ... if you're very concerned about their rejection, it's not a good thing -- again, you come across as needy. People like to be invited to stuff -- ask them for their numbers so you can invite them to a party/bar with friends, even better if you ask two or three -- you're not "hitting on" a particular one. Some people like to be helpful too, sometimes it's okay to ask their number in case you want help from them. Here's a thought -- practice on guys first. Some guys are interesti…

Do you go to them or do they come to you? Speak less, but honestly and with surety. Don't wait until you're friends to ask for a number -- ask for a number the second time you meet them.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
