This would be a very uncomfortable class to take with a male professor / students.. although tbh it sounds okay in theory. Part of analysis involves critical thinking about something that is widely accepted.

I had a bf like this too, strange but my mom was also like this. I was UnGrAtEfUl if I didn’t like something that was a gift to me but it wasn’t bought with my tastes in mind! It represented something someone else wanted me to be, not who I actually was at the time.

I charged my ex $60 for my new phone number & he paid it. He then sent me a PERVERTED a$$ message so I blocked. Easy $60 tho lol.

It’s disgusting to me that men treat women this way. No one is forcing them to say “yes.” I hate men that treat me like garbage, but the ~logical sex~ hates women that want love, affection, and are willing to bend over backwards to make you happy.

This post came at the perfect time.. my ex text me that it’s his birthday & he wants to take me out of town somewhere. Not even gonna entertain that. Not gonna text back with my reasons why I won’t go. Just ignore.

I’ve dated men with kids before and I’ll be honest.. I could never take these men seriously for several reasons, but the main one was that they had children already. I am in my 20s and have no desire to be a stepmother or have any baby mama drama in my life. Another important reason was that these men didn’t seem to care that I was still a stranger, still in the very early stages of dating, yet they were perfectly comfortable having me stay the night and having me around their children. I grew u…

Lundy Bancroft goes into this topic in why does he do that- women who cheat to get out of an abusive relationship. I’ve been there too, I know that feeling of being controlled and treated so poorly, but not being allowed to leave. I finally went on a date and it was amazing, the feeling of a man being nice to me and trying to impress me.

I hooked up with a guy that I felt ~sparks~ with and when it was over I decided that whether or not he wanted to pursue me I would be okay with it just being a one time thing. He ended up lovebombing me and occasionally devaluing me. A few weeks of this and I find him to be confusing, like his actions don’t match his words. I finally ended it when he told me his “friend died and the funeral is out of state” as an excuse for not doing anything on Valentine’s Day. When I confronted him for lying, …

That sounds like a solid way to destroy your own self esteem and possibly get sexually assaulted :( seriously, it’s dangerous to be alone with a man you just met...

I love sex but I don’t think I could ever let a man touch me or even kiss me again unless it’s serious. They let it get to their head and treat you terribly after. It’s just not worth it.

I do believe that some are not aware, they lack the ability to be introspective, but a lot of them are aware and don’t care too.

What I don’t understand about lovebombing...if they genuinely feel their target is perfect, why don’t their actions match their words? I’ve met narcs who could charm me with their words but everything else was low effort.

I’m going through something similar. Difference is I don’t get many dates and I’m an attractive 24 year old living in a major city. Men try to lowball me or they wanna talk to me but never actually follow through with taking me out. After wasting my time with an unemployed scrote earlier this year, I have way higher standards and stronger boundaries than ever before and most men...well they can’t meet me at my level. Or I sniff out the red flags very early on. It’s just become repetitive and bor…

Next time a man asks me if I like to cook I’m telling him that I’ll only cook for my husband who pays my bills. Then I’m leaving. I’ve been asked that by two different men WHILE ON A FIRST DATE. They only wanted to waste my time anyway, the entitlement is so gross. I bet they couldn’t even change a tire or build something.

“I’m a narcissist” is one I heard at the beginning & I told him not to joke like that 🤡 The other ones waited until they wanted me to break up with them to tell me “I’m selfish” and “I have nothing to offer, I’m a bullshitter.”

I fell victim to a LVM just like this. Luckily it only lasted a month, but it really threw me through a loop when I realized that he discarded me because I enforced boundaries. There was still a part of me that was hoping he was being sincere & it was definitely traumatizing to realize that no, he was full of **** and lovebombing me.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
