| 1 | Approaching Restaurant Hostess (not waitress)Typically at a restaurant there is a lull in-between the Lunch and Dinner "rushes", usually around 4ocklock. I would advise you to show up at the tail end of lunch and try to talk to her during that lull, before the dinner host comes to replace her. Also, if a patron would try to talk to me during the peak hours, I wouldn't mind, but I would most likely be stuck in my fake super smiles keep everyone happy mode, so you likely wouldn't have a chance of making a genuine connection.
