Needing a man’s perspectiveYou’re spot on with every single point. Thank you for your time. I so appreciate your insight. This was exactly what I was seeking. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/04/20 07:15 PM
Needing a man’s perspectiveYou’re so right! Sadly I still find myself hoping he regrets what happened and tries to reconcile. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/04/20 07:13 PM
Needing a man’s perspectiveYes, this is exactly what I told him. Every person has this experience while married. You’ve made a promise to each other to hold on and weather the storms together. I asked/begged him to rethink this decision. I felt he would regret giving up on us. He was way far gone by then. He told me he prayed on it. I’m not sure a God he stated didn’t exist would advise him to break up his sons family unit. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/04/20 06:16 PM

Needing a man’s perspectiveThank you for your insight. His father passed away 28 years ago, at about the age of 50, so I thought the recent continual speaking of his father then his subsequent request for a divorce was made by his questioning of his life and his future. I still think there is a responsibility in a relationship to tell your mate that you’re unhappy when things start to bother you to resolve these issues. Not a word. I always encouraged him to address his emotional issues in a professional manner. No go. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/04/20 05:56 PM
Needing a man’s perspectiveCan you please define how you’re using the word deferred? | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/04/20 05:47 PM
Needing a man’s perspectiveWhat was the most surprising was the flip of a switch comment by him. Yes, he did leave our son behind. . I don’t feel sorry for my ex when he tells me he misses our son so much. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/04/20 05:45 PM
Needing a man’s perspectiveYes. I have noticed this trend. I’m thankful to be aware that one man who hurt me is not any other man. I’m hopeful to find love again when I’m ready. There are wonderful men in this world. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/04/20 05:42 PM

Needing a man’s perspectiveThat’s the part that hurt me the most, missing half of my sons life. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/04/20 05:39 PM
Needing a man’s perspectiveOh I agree! The first 15 years were great. The last 1 1/2 years were miserable. Begged him on my knees to not have to have our son go through this. He said no to every suggestion to try to reverse the demise of our relationship. I take equal responsibility for not heeding the signs that he wasn’t happy. He didn’t say a single word to me about his unhappiness. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/04/20 05:38 PM
