2	New Zealand leftists plan to change rape law to reverse the burden of proof from the accuser to the accused. If accused of rape, one will have to prove innocence or be automatically found guilty. I don't think there is any way such an absurd law could get passed, but even the proposition of such a law is just stupefying. The concept of being innocent until proven guilty is a necessary condition for a free democratic society, I don't understand how a politician could seriously propose overturning that premise, even if for just one offense (actually, especially for just one offense).
