I read something that if you can stay friends with an ex after dating, then either you both were never in love, or still love each other. I think going no contact can mean a lot of things and it might not be a red flag in and of itself. Maybe that paired with a couple crazy ex stories might be more of a clue.

I think there are some distinctions. Sure, some young women think that all there is to life is finding love and having kids. Some try it and regret not exploring themselves more before settling down, others knew who they were and it worked out.
