because where someone comes from is important. You wouldn't take cooking advice from someone who's last twenty posts were "how do I put out this cooking fire?" This applies doubly so when ethics are involved.

It seems like her reaction may be due to phrasing/timing. Did you bring up a pre-nup directly after or very close to the discussion of marriage? If so, that's your #1 mistake. Of course she's gonna freak out- to her, it seems like you are putting her value to you on par with or below that of your money, which, even if it is the truth, you NEVER want to insinuate. Is she faking her emotions to disrupt the idea of a pre-nup? Nah, bro. Women care a ton more about how you value them than your money …
