Shit mate, exactly what I fear the most of what's to come. In my case it would not surprise me one bit if it happens. I can imagine the stress and anxiety this causes and to be told to go relax is quite lame. But definitely go do some activities to keep your mind from spinning. I'm at the gym right now to clear my head from last night's lies. Duck and weave mate.

I hope it will only be one year, but I'm pretty sure this will stretch further for me. Good for you to have held your head high and pulled through. I've had big lows, but it's these sort of messages and the few friends I have left that keep me going, so thanks for sharing and power on.

Great idea. I'm in Australia, but came from Holland and have had real trouble making friends, the ones I do have have all been approached by my stbxw and a few distanced themselves from me. Lucky some saw through the tactic, but it has been a bitter pill to swallow to see some fall for it so easily. I'm worried I lean too much on my left over friends for support and guidance, so your idea might open up some knowledge from people in the know. I just want to be able to see them and have a laugh an…

I'm with you, I myself always react to quick, I've learned to let the anger, frustration calm and think of the consequences if I react. More often I don't do it and someone else says something or the incriminate themselves, like you said comeuppance/karma do the trick

Did you make that yourself, or would that be available through a website. I'm not overly knowledgeable with exel to be able to figure out how to put that together.

Amazingly similar situation, I was In your shoes but held on an additional 20 years. I wish I could go back to 4 years and do it then. I don't know your situation, but my wife has all the hallmarks of a narcissist and she'll never change. Going through hell now, but so happy that I finally made the move Mate if you tried the options and it just doesn't feel right, get out now and rebuild. You will come out on top eventually, that's what everyone keeps telling me and I'm clinging to that.

I'm going through the process myself after 23 years. What I don't understand is that guys let themselves be thrown out of the house. My wife keeps telling me to leave, because she doesn't want to look at me, but I refuse, as it is my house as much as hers. Stay strong my man, because it's seems to be time to move on. I can't yet comprehend the loneliness still to come and all the steps to go through, but the knowledge that I need this helps me no end.

Swimming in jelly, is funny enough exactly the right wording for how I'm feeling.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
