It’s something worth discussing with your partner for sure, you never want to assume they’re ok with something and find out the hard way. I don’t know if it’s on the same level as physically cheating but it’s definitely something that people set boundaries with for good reason.

Exactly. It’s clearly evoking some underlying feelings towards how society treats the concept of masculinity, and while their anger at that might be justified it’s very clear that this isn’t the goal of the commercial and they’re loosely associating the conversation around regular masculinity with a clear critique of objectively “toxic” masculinity. Nothing portrayed in the ad is inherently masculine, things like catcalling and bullying are just shitty.
