Casting derisions on parents for not allowing their children to injure themselves is not exactly a neutral judgement. Where did they say that? It looks like you're reading into something that's not there.

When I was tooling around this sub a year ago all the red pills were getting downvoted and crying their eyes out. That's why downvoting was disabled in the first place, to appease red pillers. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, it's funny to see them say "suck it up, BP!".

You didn't call out his advice, you said " please don't become a parent". That comment was totally rude and uncalled for, and if you take a step back from your emotional reaction you'll see that.

Who is TBP judging and shaming in this thread?

Looks like the BP leaning people here on this thread either want someone with a similar partner count or the number doesn't matter to them though...

What you describe is banter, and not meant to make the girl feel insecure. Banter builds rapport and chemistry. What I've seen on TRP often from commenters and the posted articles is that negging is meant to make the target feel less secure about herself and supposedly want to work for the guys attention. I've never seen anyone build rapport by making someone feel insecure. An example would be something that's supposed to be innocuous and innocent like "wow that girl is so pretty!", meant to let…

If negging is only playful banter why don't you just say playful banter? I've seen it referred to as taking a girl down a notch so she feels insecure and needs your attention more times than I can remember...

...no that is so completely wrong. Forcing someone to have sex is still rape. You're commodifying the service, the time and effort, not the person themselves.

I have had the same reservations in the past, and I agree there is definitely the call girl/working girl dynamic you brought up in play. It's the same as the courtesan/brothel workers of the past, the rich always get the nicest of what there is. I suppose that if the sex industry were regulated well ideally even the lowest denominator sex workers would have basic protections and decent working conditions, and would be there voluntarily of course. Your story about the red light district is sad bu…

Do you think that all you said would also apply to men? After all there is a thriving Host culture in Korea and Japan where women will spend hundred and thousands of dollars a month on handsome men. And I have no doubt there are many handsome guys out there ready and willing to do the same in the west. If you see it as a huge blow to women wouldn't it also be a huge blow to men?

Feminism is criminalizing international prostitution? I'm sorry but I'm not sure what you're talking about here, do you mean legal prostitution in other countries or forced trafficking?

Yes it's click bait, but I invite you to find anything that isn't these days. This article isn't being picked apart because it makes women out to be better at leadership, it's because they used a large sample size and competent testing methods. I cant imagine feminists or anyone else picking over an article saying the same about men unless it was bad science or methodology. And honestly, horrible as it is one example from the view doesn't prove being critical of women is a greater sin. There are…

Can I assume the framework you're talking about is the material in TRP sidebar? Or is it something else?

I agree with you that articles claiming women are superior leaders due to "heightened empathy" or something like that are a bit ridiculous, but for a different reason. It's not really due to empathy or nurturing qualities at all, and articles making that claim are misrepresenting data in a way that's a bit sexist to everyone. Females and Nurturing Competencies The majority of people we talk with make the assumption that women will excel at nurturing competencies such as developing others, inspir…

The only issue? I can only speak for myself but the misogyny is the main issue for me. If it weren't for the articles like the ones you mentioned, TRP would likely just be your regular dating advice sub. I don't understand, and no one has been able to show me, anything that that only TRP can offer. An outlet for anger? I don't think so, TRP more seems to feed off anger than dispel it. You dispel anger by understanding everyone's point of view, where they are coming from. So help me understand, w…

Really? From my experience TRP is mostly very opposed to marriage in general. On the actual sub yes. Some of the RPers here on PPD say they are married or have a SO, and are in support of traditional marriage or 'captain and first mate'. these are the individuals I'm referring to. They don't seem to hate women, or advocate we all go back to the 50s, they just choose to have the traditional model of marriage which seems reasonable enough to me. If I can have my choice of marriage I wouldn't deny …

Yes, I used to have the view that TRP was entirely an angry and misogynistic bunch who took away legitimacy from actual MRA issues. I still mostly think that, but i see now that there is a more reasonable faction of TRP which is mainly interested in a traditional marriage rather than an angry 'pump and dump'. The latter people I've been able to have calm, rational discussions with. The only thing I sincerely don't get is why they associate themselves with TRP at all. I've seen and heard from the…

Are you familiar with Japanese or Korean Idols? I believe the female bands get many if not more groupies these days than the men. Stalking is still a huge issue, but it's more of a mixed bag. As for successful...I've not known it to be the case. I think women, and especially wealthy and famous women, would be careful about letting anyone into their dressing room, especially someone they just met. I've heard that many of the Asian Idols are not allowed to even date, so it may be even less likely …

Haha well I'd agree that breast-feeding is an ability women have, but men can chew up food and spit in mouths (sorry kinda gross) to feed also. Wouldn't classify breast-feeding as a skill or trait though, since skills are gained by practice over time and traits are more like 'personality traits' like cheerful or industrious IMO at least. I suppose you could become skilled at breast-feeding, never tried so I leave this to others to debate.

So it is justifiable to say the sort of things said on TRP because feelings are hurt? It's ok to talk about how worthless women are beyond their ability to give sex because there are some shitty women out there? That's bull, it's like women who got cheated on making a whole sub to say 'all men are worthless cheaters' and have no value beyond lifting heavy objects. And I can tell you no one really thinks highly of women saying those things either. I'd like to say that women are also 'lied to' abo…

Sorry, but what's the point of this question? It seems rather loaded directed only towards women, and what are we meant to discuss exactly?

I think it's more the idea that a woman who doesn't take advantage of her youth to find a reliable partner and instead uses it to sleep around What I don't understand is how the "pump and dump" guys of TRP are doing essentially this, but feel the need hate on the women who do the same. Why double standard when you can just enjoy it for what it is?

we're talking about a sub supported by people who prefer mockery and shaming as the go-to response for behaviors they don't approve of. This is exactly what TRP does to women who don't sleep with them, or fit into their 'unicorn' mold. TBP would literally have no reason to exist if TRP were more about strategy and less about misogyny. I'll grant that a lot of the articles are click-bait, but many of the comments coming from users are why TBP even exists. If TRP truly was about self improvement a…

'White lies' about having a boyfriend or being otherwise unavailable is her trying to let you down without saying 'I'm not into you'. It comes from being blown up at by guys who either get mad for her not being into them or guys who can't take a hint and need a more definitive 'no' than a regular no. Like, "sorry, I'm not interested....no, still no, no, no, no, still really not into you-I HAVE A BOYFRIEND SORRY!!" Not saying it's always right, but it helps if a guy is not taking the hint. I reco…

women are not authentically expressing their desires hey man, its harder than it sounds, you have to break through society's mold of what an ideal mate is first. we grow up surrounded by images and expectations of what is the best type of mate in our society, often so much people don't really get to explore what they themselves desire. or they only find out after a lot of trial and error and frustration. the ideal mate changes from place to place and era to era just like fashion. you can get a l…

Thank you for that article, it did clarify your argument about cultural communities in America immensely. I can happily admit you schooled me on that one. I always did wonder why my conservatives seemed different than others in the country. :) And I can understand where people from the areas you mentioned, Deep South and 'Great Appalachia' are coming from in regards to defending ones values. I can agree it's simplistic and probably rude, but I said it like that to make a point, not a divide. And I have to say comparing birth control to murder is quite a leap. But I will explain: I live in a conservative area and know plenty of conservative/religious people who are perfectly fine with other religions, other sexualities, science, people using contraception and obtaining abortions (although if i'm being honest many still frown upon it, they just feel it's not their place to tell someon…

You make good arguments in regards to how liberals and conservatives generally prefer their communities, although to me it still stinks of protectiveness and insecurity on the part of anyone who would limit knowledge or health options for people. Why would you need to limit your child's options and knowledge of options when your practice or belief is supposedly the best? And I mean this in the context not letting your child learn about evolution, sexual education, explore other religions or athe…

No one is taking away peoples right to worship and teach their cultural values. But people should be given a choice as to whether they accept those values, hence, schools should be a neutral place where kids have the freedom to see what's out there and choose what they believe for themselves. And it's not just closed communities anymore. The world is changing and communities are becoming more diverse. Would you tell a burgeoning community of Jews or Hindus in your area to just deal with the esta…

I was with you until the liberals have spent the past 40 years waging an aggressive campaign of cultural imperialism against the conservatives. I guess I should be glad you didn't say 'left wing satanists' but really? You think it's entirely liberals who are pressuring people to change? If a conservative doesn't want an abortion they can...not get an abortion. If a conservative is religious and doesn't want to use birth control...don't use it. But for some reason, conservatives have been eating …

Well tbh crying and breakdowns are kind of unattractive in general. and I mean that in the sense of if someone I already found attractive broke down I would be more concerned than turned on. And I'm bi so that goes for guys and gals. And it would also depend on the situation. If they're breaking up over something legitimate, I'd be honored that they confided in and trusted me - if not legitimate, yeah that probably would end the attraction.

It's ok you don't understand. It's not for me either, but some people are just wired that way. Not all human beings are naturally monogamous, some don't even desire sex at all. If it's not for you just be honest, nothing wrong with that either.

Feminism to me is about men and women having equal access to justice, education, opportunity and rights. It's not about taking away rights from men, or giving women more rights than men. Women having more access than men to any of the above would not be feminism. It'd be just another flavor of discrimination. I think we've come along way in the west: attitudes are relaxing and minds are opening to many different gender 'norms' but we're still not through. As for 'radfems'...I've not had the expe…

You bring up an interesting point: Is empathy more useful to our species than aggression (please correct me if this is not what you intended)? My personal opinion is yes. Mainly because I enjoy tv and internet and not being raped, all things that from my perspective, are more easily facilitated by empathy than aggression. In regards to your comment on excess empathy in women, I am a bit perplexed. You see, I have also experienced taking things personally, placing undue emphasis on feelings (nota…

First off, thanks you for your reply. I think you're the only one who attempted to answer the second question i had, that being how to close the empathy gap between boys and girls. Make the men in your life (especially your sons) know that they are intrinsically worthy of love. I know it sounds saccharine, but men resist showing vulnerability because they are afraid of losing out on love. I definitely agree with this point. Children who grow up not feeling this, male or female, tend to not turn …

Because they don't give a damn about incel men. no one was even talking about incel men. They would much rather these guys live lives of depression and desperation, rather than hear anything that offends bluepill sensitivities. projecting A man's abject misery means less to them than a woman's delicate sensibilities. seriously projecting Be honest, why should women, or anyone, give a damn about people who talk about them the way you talk about women?

Attracted to them: pay them more attention in general relative to others around, find excuses to talk to them, ask them about themselves. If around this point they are reciprocating, flirty looks and jokes, especially flirty teasing. If things are starting to heat up maybe some light, playful touching. At this point,it should be obvious to the person and anyone else in the room that there is interest. Not attracted: attention is polite, minimal. Not asking many personal questions or making a lot…

And so god forbid you have to act like a civilized person and think of something else to say? Maybe that vibe, which I can almost garuantee is seeping from you no matter how much you try to "conceal your intentions and reel her in," is why women seem to reject you more often than not. Yes, with a bit of life experience this vibe is glaringly obvious from both sexes.
