You did make some valid points and just all religions, the people of Judaism aren’t perfect and we have our fair share of those who don’t keep the law exactly and honestly it’s not for me to judge them for it. 0	Mother laughs while her son gets mutilated Unfortunately I do from a time period in my life we’re I bucked the traditions. It’s a regret I live with and unfortunately have not been able to get them removed. All the mitzvah are important and many Jews strive to live by them the best we can. No person is perfect and there are some mitzvah with a little wiggle room as far as the way it’s worded. As for catholic priests, as far I know there isn’t any tenant in Judaism or Christianity that espouses raping children so not sure where you were going with that one. The mitzvah was pretty direct that Abraham and his descendants were to be circumcised to mark the covenant. Gentiles were never meant to undergo circumcision and therefore I strongly agree with many of the reasons why someone would want to prevent young children from undergoing the procedure. It’s something that I as a Jewish male and Jewish father take very seriously as it is a direct commandment from G-d. Yes, G-d has blessed many people who are not Jewish and blessing from and a relationship with him are not mutually exclusive to being a Jew. 2	19 year old woman has sex with 14 year old boy, and suddenly the sex offender registry is a problem. No I wouldn't, I'd also have a problem if my 14 year old son got with an older woman, and I'm not saying that someone guilty of that shouldn't be punished. My view is this, teenagers make mistakes and the system punishes teenage stupidity way to harshly for both males and females. Do I think what she did was wrong? Yes, Do I think she needs to have her life ruined over a moment of teenage stupidity? No. Same thing if the genders were reversed. (according to religious historical documents).
