Related to this: studies showing that men are at a disadvantage might not get published because of fear of threats or the idea that publishing them would be harmful to women's rights. Probably way less funding as well and it would also not be good for one's career. Plus, social sciences (and especially gender studies) are generally dominated by women. I'm guessing this is a huge disadvantage for men as well.
