You can have feminist view points and still prefer a partner that participates in certain norms. In general the literal expectation for anyone to pay for you is kind of entitled, but if it’s just a preference I don’t see the issue

Bald and short men get ass every day. It might make someone generally “less desirable” but it’s never ever the ONE reason you don’t get laid. it’s just nit.

There isn’t “one singular thing” that makes you successful in dating. Being social helps. Being clean and healthy helps. Being smart and interesting and funny helps. Having hobbies and interests helps. honestly if you have so many friends. Have you asked any of the women you’re friends with why you’re not successful?

You have no idea how much life is ahead of you; I know 25 doesn’t feel “young” but it really is. And there’s a difference between self improvement and trying to achieve certain things just to be marketable. Balding and short isn’t going to doom you. Being insecure and giving up on love before you’re even middle aged though… I know this comment gets thrown around a lot to be cruel but it’s not my intention whatsoever when I say, maybe you need some therapy. Most people do. And an emotionally inte…

I have a theory that men who are perpetually horny actually just have low dopamine. Men who engage in hobbies, exercise and healthy socialization, in my experience, don’t seem to be as horny. It’s still always different for everyone, but I’ve definitely seen a pattern in boyfriends past.

“If a dude has results, his strategy is proven” makes sense to me, but your examples are about how to get prostitutes or emotionally battered women lol. If you know a man of good character that has been in a long, happy and healthy marriage- listen to him. If you know a man who has taken his time in the dating world until he found a woman that he was honestly happy with and who was a good person- listen to him. This goes for all things- take advice from people you want to be like and have accomp…

One thing that so many underestimate is a sense of style. That doesn’t mean you have to be trendy, but how someone dresses says a lot. Clean clothes in good condition are the bare minimum. There are resources for learning how to pick things that flatter your specific body type. And it’s a chance to show personality- Pinterest is a great tool for finding ideas. Don’t be afraid to try on different things you wouldn’t normally, or to ask a sales associate for advice. Superhero t-shirt’s and cargo s…

First of all, if someone is going to cheat on you, they’ll do it regardless of whether or not they were sleeping around before you. Loyalty and integrity are not reserved solely for women who don’t put out. Second of all, everyone has a different idea of how valuable sex is. For me, I don’t sleep with men I don’t know very well for safety and health reasons. But aside from that, i’m more likely to sleep with someone than I am to share my secrets or dreams with them; what we share for a fleeting …

I read a lot of contemporary fiction that has a story based on big issues. Example, Mad Honey By Jodi Picoult. One of the best i read this year. Focused on a trans teenager. Great story. I didn’t learn “life lessons” but I learned things about a journey i’ll never be on, and it was eye opening. It’s not like i can post an ad for a trans person to just tell me sh*t lol. I definitely don’t think fictionalized stories can teach you everything. But that doesn’t mean they have nothing to offer.

When a man tells me he is a Chris Brown fan I IMMEDIATELY have a very strong opinion of him. Or if he says Pulp Fiction is his favorite movie. Or if he has a bunch of bizarre symbols tattooed that he says are Viking symbols. But i just smile and nod and don’t give him my number. How hard is it to keep your insults to yourself?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 10:48 AM

It is a hobby lmao it’s inspirational posts and little graphics of constellations. It’s just fun to read about. and honestly if you think i’m dumb that’s fine! I think you’re judgmental and rude.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 10:42 AM

The fact that most men have such disdain for things most women like is telling.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 10:40 AM

Faking disinterest to get laid is as horrible as blatantly insulting me. It’s fine with me that you’re not interested. But people that mistreat other people for having different interests or opinions are objectively way worse humans than ones who listen to overrated artists or read a daily horoscope. I’d rather be basic than mean.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 10:39 AM

It’s not my fault people think differing opinions justifies unkindness.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 10:35 AM

that’s an addiction lol not a hobby
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 10:34 AM

No one is answering my question. Just proving my point.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 10:31 AM

That’s what the post was. And all you are doing, every single man, is proving my point. I asked Why you are UNKIND to women who like XYZ and then y’all just sat here and ranted about music and horoscopes, and several people have called me names. Despicable.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 10:30 AM

So… because you don’t enjoy her music. You have the right be rude and insult me because I do? If you’d READ my post lol. I’m not defending my opinions. I’m asking why you think it’s acceptable to insult me.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 10:28 AM

Have basic respect for people with different interests
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 10:26 AM

Regardless. Why tf are people rude about it? What excuse do you have for insulting someone who simply MENTIONED an interest.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 10:25 AM

No you’re right women don’t make snacks on Super Bowl Sunday or let car guys fill the garage with parts or go with them to concerts or watch movies w them or-

It’s a cute little hobby for me. I’m not out here blaming the stars for my bad day. But if you look into, which none of you in here have clearly it’s avery intriguing and complex compilation of observations, recorded over THOUSANDS of years. Seriously. Look into it, and even if you decide it’s still all BS, i bet you’d be surprised by what you learn.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 10:19 AM

First of all, hobbies can’t be dumb. They’re subjective interest. Second of all, astrology and Taylor Swift are just interests. Not conspiracy theories. You don’t have to appreciate them. But you should have basic respect for people
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 10:15 AM

abs not. i just want to be ok that i like reading my little app that tells me inspirational things based on thousands of years of collected data about the stars. go play on your xbox bb lol
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 10:14 AM

do you feel the same way about religion or holistic medicine?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 10:11 AM

Why is it deserving of insult though? People liking vanilla doesn’t make them bad or dumb or unworthy of respect. Taylor Swift is popular, so is Star Wars. People like it, so you don’t like those people? asinine.

This is strictly my opinion But i don’t think it’s ever a “red flag”. Like to me red flag means there is a problem. Simply being a virgin is now a flaw to me. It is however an incompatibility. So I personally wouldn’t date a virgin. But it’s not necessarily a red flag to me.

I didn’t say it’s the only way. But it’s pretty common for men to push and push and push all of my boundaries until we end up there.

In my experience, men don’t need to be “attracted” to a woman to be interested. They will sleep with women who are willing, they will marry women who will meet their needs. but women have different layers of what they find attractive. Sure he has a nice smile but he’s rude. This guy might be a little overweight but he’s so sweet and funny. Someone’s husband might be kind and have a great body, but he is lazy and can’t keep a job.

I have questions lol. They’ll be hard to answer because the answers are somewhat subjective: Is it possible that the woman thought you were her friend, and was hurt that you were using her to get laid? In the majority of these instances, was the woman actually RUDE and UNKIND, or did she just get cold and disengaged so that you wouldn’t accidentally get mislead? Is there any chance that she tried to gently reject you but when you didnt take a hint, or even worse tried to convince her otherwise, …

Corny lol but cute and polite and not at all off putting I love it.

Even if that were true. You chose to respond. You chose to buy the drink. Why is the woman the bad guy here because you CHOSE to give her time and a drink? I’m not saying disappointment isn’t valid. But why is it a “waste of time” to talk to someone for the minutes then decide you’re not interested? Is she supposed to give you a free trial lol

That is abs not true. Women can go to a bar without their boyfriend? I have, my friends have. We’re allowed to be in public without a chaperone 😂

The demonization of women in this take is bizarre. Setting aside the ridiculous comparison of a mentally handicapped functional character lol. She walked all over him? He never took the hint. It doesn’t t matter how nice and accomplished he is. She didn’t want him and that doesn’t make her the villain. If she walked all over him it’s because he didn’t set boundaries. And asking Forrest to be a father to their child because she’s dying is not “running back.” He chose to love her no matter what. S…
