lol some will blackmail you saying they will eat poison or rumors will spread that youre gay. Also i know a person who didnt marry( living a good life tho) and at marraiges people used to make jokes about him. Weird

yes 60k per year might not sound good to you but its a great salary in india due to the purchasing power parity 60k in india can be considered like 200k in america

lol if only it was like that. sadly in india you have little to no say in your marriage. Parents do majority of the work. also atleast in my place the bride and groom dont even meet face to face before marriage. plus this is how marriages (arranged atleast are conducted here) earlier we used to have matchmakers who used to conduct background checks, monetary conditions property etc but all that has slowly been shifting to matrimony websites.

I agree but thats not the point. The point is she is unemployed and brings nothing to to the table but still has the audacity to bodyshame some of those guys(bald, small height) and also just picking men like its a yard sale based on money and the place they live. This shows how in my society at least marriage is definetly not love and just a form of business...
