I will give you that we probably started creating rigid marriages when we also started inventing religion. On the other hand, humans naturally form long-term relationships. If we had society taken away, and religion disappeared, humans would still pair off in to longer-term relationships.

An appeal to tradition is not the best argument. There are probably a lot of people who don't place much value in the Judeo-Christian version of reality.

In a similar boat as you. I have never understood the attempt at calling fat sexy. I think they are raging against the North American lifestyle by saying "well, it must be okay because 20% of the population is near-death obese."

That's how I think about the de-legitimization of male sexuality and behaviour. If we convince every male that their sexual urges are evil, creepy and rapey, we're going to have a lot of dissatisfied women.

I've always been a losery-looking guy, fat and round-faced. I have put a great deal of effort in to chasing women, though, with pretty decent success. I've gone through my droughts, but those were caused by a period where I was not putting the effort in to find someone.

Yes, I do support taking things from people and using them to help other people (and maybe even the first group we are taking things from). I'm pretty much okay with the people who want to go off and form their own self-sufficient communities. There certainly is a movement that would like to force that thinking on larger political zones, though. I might be fine with a libertarian-leaning city government or neighbourhood association. I am not sure how we would have highways between small self-suf…

Great analysis of my argument style. I agree that I do sound like that. I certainly feel that way. It is a problem I am working on. I guess there is fraud. There I'd an apartment building beside my house that has a lot of older people on disability insurance. They spend the whole summer in the yard drinking and listening to the same classic rock music all day. I have heard a few sources say that the amount of fraud is pretty low in most welfare systems, but that we hunt out the cheats aggressive…

You need to explain how people are going to eat without money. I am not dismissing your statement as impossible, but I am curious as to how people afford to live with no job and no government assistance? I gave a few possible methods. Churches and mosques can provide food to people. They do tend to be biased, though, so they might not be the best solution. If you want to argue that people should starve if they can't afford to live, you should argue that. We may have to deal with that decision so…

Interesting perspective. From where I sit, the middle has shifted so far to the right as to be in dangerous territory. I think this is a symptom of the compartmentalization of the media. Just like a feminist who plans her life in such as way as to never interact with a male in a meaningful way, we can plan our lives in such a way as to only hear one half of the political story. There is no more shared history. Everything is personalized and customizable, so people amplify their own opinions by g…

Thanks! It's good to know I am not the only person who had a problem with that. Everyone must think that we are on a sinking ship and that the best way to survive is to see others fail. That is how I describe modern conservative thought, and the whole libertarian movement. Intelligent people and the gov't have discredited themselves in the eyes of the masses to such a degree that anti-intellectualism and government hating are now considered intellectually rigorous pursuits.

That would be an interesting question to answer! I don't think that either men or women are more obese and therefore suffer higher rates of disease. I would imagine that the costs are pretty similar, because men end up sucking up huge amounts of health care dollars when they're old and have become raging alcoholics because of the stress of having their kids taken away by their hambeast ex-wife. Men take more risks, get killed more often in accidents and have riskier jobs, that would probably off…

They will not go quietly. Unless you cull the population you are going to have a lot of angry hungry people on your hands. Do people not understand this?! What do you expect to happen when people are starving and dying of the common cold and you laugh in their face? You would have a violent revolution immediately. No one wants that.

Haha. I was pointing out that you lose the argument by suggesting that killing all the poor people is a good way to run society. It is easy to shut me down with a simple statement like that, or calling me a blue pill loser. I should have said that you are not going to help your argument by saying that the poor should starve instead of saying that you already lose the argument by suggesting that. That was my point. The way I see it, you could probably make an economic case for letting the poor st…

I understand that argument. I think that society has a responsibility to pay for single mothers who are taking care of their kids even if they made poor choices. If you font take care of people you will end up with roving rape gangs and rampant crime, so you don't have much of a choice once you have a population that needs funding. You're right about the serial market being as libertarian as possible. This was a hard pill to swallow, as I and so liberal in my other beliefs. The harshness of the …

I know there is racism, but we don't have attacks on the ability of any cultural groups at voting. Outside of the cities I'm sure there is more racism. I live in Hamilton and work in Toronto and I just don't see any open racism. I also live in the poorer half of Hamilton, where some would expect the uneducated masses to constantly spout racist bullshit. I still hear phrases like "my vagina is racist" from women, or racist jokes. I would put those on a different level than open racism, or structu…

Haha. I love owe vilified the word socialism is in the USA. I hurt my knee yesterday, so I'm going to go get some tasty communist xrays this morning. In just wish Americans would blatently admit that they would prefer to just kill everyone who doesn't make enough money instead of sharing with those people. Socialism is sharing amongst large groups of people. Americans are the worlds 4 year old who doesn't understand that simple concept.

How else are they going to acquire food? They could steal it. They could rely on privately funded food banks like churches, etc. They could dumpster dive. How about a government truck that drives around in poor neighborhoods dispensing live chickens and bags of flour? Does that sound like a market-based strategy?

I had not considered the price fixing nature of food stamps, though that sounds pretty conspiracy theoryish. Wouldn't plenty of places in the world buy the shit out American farmed goods if there were some vast abundance? The farmers would find a market somewhere. I don't think that the large array of poverty subsidies are as efficient as they could be. It would probably be more efficient if the government have a minimum income or something to that effect similar to your wage subsidy. The proble…

Do SJWs tell black people how to stop being oppressed? I was under the assumption that standing in solidarity with people who are oppressed is a good thing, even if those people are not among the oppressed group. I'm middle class white from Canada, but we don't have racism up here to the same degree. I feel for every oppressed group because I don't have to see nearly as much as it as when I go to the USA.

I think that's a myth. The western economy is fucking massive, still. Sure, most of that is money pushers who "make" by charging fees for doing something that produces no physical golds, but people certainly seem to respect them, so it's clearly good. Money spent on prevention and research are like buying in bulk. You're spending less for more. In the cases you mentioned, the HPV vaccine (probably discovered through cervical cancer research) saves thousands of dollars per woman who would have developed cervical cancer if they had acquired HPV. I explained that the reasons women take more of our healthcare dollars, if that is true, it is because of their baby-making machinery. I'm sure you would like to have access to that baby-making machinery, so you pay for it as a man. Feel free to get upset about it if you're pure MGTOW, but you still need a medical establishment to fund the birth control for the women you do associate with. I don't think that sort of discourse is a good way of advancing thought and raising the consciousness of bo…

I had not thought of it like this, because I was not aware that women cost more to the healthcare system than men do until recently that I have started hearing this. And I pay a lot of attention to medical matters because I have a chronic disease. I'm Canadian, BTW, and we all pay the same amount for our healthcare. Every person contributes. I would play devils advocate on their higher costs and say it is to support the baby-making mechanics that men get equal benefit from. Someone else here (I …

Am I the only person in this community that considers himself left-leaning politically? Every once in a while, some pretty extreme anti-left stuff comes out of the mouths of guys here because gender studies is taught at university. Throughout my life, I have mostly been outside of the circle of what a woman would consider attractive, so I have a massive amount of experience on what it feels like to get the disgusted looks because I am usually very honest and direct about my feelings towards women, including blatant interest in their physique. Women think that men are creepy if they don't find them attractive. They want their sexual signals to only ever be noticed by men they find attractive, and all other men are required to never notice, or if they notice, to never mention anything. I think engaging in sex for money on video that will end up on the internet is a bit different than private sex between people. If she was buddies with the guy and told him "holy crap, I did this awesome thing, don't tell anyone" and he told people that's the only "dick move." If he just found out that some hot chick he knew did porn, that's fair game.

The realization that an unattractive male is considered creepy, gross or rapey when engaging in the exact same behaviour as an attractive male is one of the biggest contributing factors to my acceptance of RP ideas. These women would be fine with the statue if it were a clearly attractive male. You MIGHT hear some people crying about having sexualized statues in public, but I doubt the girls would be creeped out by it.

Disclaimer: This is how I feel. I can't actually know if BJs are actually unimportant to you, or if you're just settling. I always considered it deeply insulting when a woman didn't want to give oral sex. Oral sex is something that I am always going to be on offer from me, because it is enjoyable and also because orgasms are important for both men and women for sex to be fully enjoyable. It's just another method of facilitating an orgasm. If a woman is unwilling to give oral, I feel that she is …

Teach is the wrong word, but for whatever reason, fewer women than men masturbate regularly. Socialise might be better word? Economically incentivize because they can get sex when they want it? Pretty much everything you're going to read on the topic of masturbation frequency references women masturbating less frequently. Also, footnotes really help when you're talking about a complicated topic. The alternative is a wall of text that looks like Hartiste wrote it. (I like the Hartiste stuff I've read, but he is ultra-verbose to a level that makes his writing difficult to follow)

Further, there are tons of studies that show that women who sleep around have less ability to pair-bond, and that their likelihood of infidelity and divorce increases linearly with partner count (roughly 1% per partner, if I recall correctly). You're setting yourself up for disaster committing to a slut. Oh! That's an interesting statistic. This is the kind of stuff I'm looking for. I'm fine with re-evaluating my position on this topic.

It's not my goal of changing your mind on it. I guess I just care more about society-level morals than men who are purely driven by their instincts. I say it is intellectually dishonest because you're totally fine with men cheating on women, just not vice versa. I'm (almost) fine with both sexes being promiscuous because that's how we were designed.

I think I would rather have a woman who knows what it takes to get her off, instead of being basically sexually retarded in her 20s. We teach women to never masturbate because they'll be sluts if they do. Guys start as soon as they know they have a dick. This means that men are experts in orgasms and women are in grade school by time they reach partnered sex. Thus, we have to do a shit tonne of extra work to get them off :P

Ahh, this is the kind of response I was looking for. Thanks for explaining your perspective instead of instinctively hitting the downvote. Cuckoldry is much more harmful and destructive to male interests than children born out of wedlock with mistresses are to female interests. Thanks for bringing that up. My life wasn't destroyed by my parent's divorce, but the whole family is in a worse financial situation than we would otherwise be if there had not been a divorce. I like this Dan Savage guy. He talks about monogam-ish relationships, where you just admit the realities of human biology that both people are going to want to fuck other people and that the bio-chemical reaction that gives us the Honeymoon Phase of a relationship will fade. I was reading something recently that was talking about how the only people calling the 28 year old male a pervert are other women closer to his age who are trying to secure his affections while he heads off with the young woman. Men are high giving him or giving him their condolences on having to deal with an immature woman instead of shaming him.

The part I find most depressing is how sex turns in to a currency for women like this. It is the thing they dangle in order to keep you interested. There seems to be a serious disconnect between the way men and women think about sex. I think most men see it as a fun activity while women (like this one) see it as a tool or a currency. The men would probably like to think that the feeling of it being a fun activity is mutual while it (probably) is not. This behaviour would be a major red flag as i…
